I got two for 8J... 7Fs were gone when i went to check on them today

I get no response for a while then two in two days... I ended up getting a trade just before you offered. Sorry

The DMP purchase dates ended Oct 1rst I think it was...That was the deadline to get one. The ones that are available now are a limited number of leftover DMP's that do not go on sale until Nov 1. If you read the links, website you will see the rules/explanations

I almost got shot on state land a few years. Slugs started flying over my head, they were whistling over me,a small tree branch landed on as the slugs went through the tree over my head. Lucky i was in a depression and the guy shooting was in a field area by the trucks. If I would have been about 2' higher up i very well may not have been able to type this right now. It has scared me from state land, but i have nothing else to hunt in this area other than that area in 6K

I've only seen one deer since opening day and that was at dark on the ride out of the woods.. hoping this storm coming gets them moving sunday

I actually got last minute access to a small piece of private property that borders 1000 acres of state land and is surrounded by private property. It is in 6k. I have been spending my time up there the last couple of days. i have a real nice spot as long as the snow . I'd really like to get a 6K tag

I'm fairly new to the syracuse area. Applied for 7J by mistake. I have no place to hunt down there and have never heard of bear swamp

I hate to ask this, but does anyone have any experience with Stone Hill state forest next to Happy Valley in 6K? I am not asking for spots by any means, just a general idea of the amount of deer in there. Do you see "a lot" or one here and there? It is a 1000 acres, good size woods IMO. I got access to the "backside" through a friend with 6 acres. I have never hunted there. I hunted there opening dad and did not hear a single shot or see another hunter or see a deer, but I only could sit 4 hours. I was starting to wonder if I weren't in the wrong zone somehow. I'll be heading back tomorrow and the weeken for sure.

Do you guys have success on state lands in the northern zone? State lands have always scared me. In the southern zone they are completely over run with people during the season
