I know it's not bowhunting... but my 6 year old daughter wants a bow for her birthday... I also have a 2 year old girl and a son arriving 11/11, so I'd rather not get something pink so it can be passed down. anyone have an opinions on what to get? My thought was that he felt that your opinion was less relevant because you are unaffected by the youth season.... a somewhat valid point in this case. Of course you don't mind, it doesn't affect your deer season at all. I do bow hunt, I don't mind a well mentored youth gun weekend during bow season, I am affected by that as a bow hunter, and back we go to the opening line.

This a discussion forum, so I don't see anything wrong with the fact that a discussion is going on... but can agree that it has gotten a little silly at this point. As far as opinionated views.... same as any other group , hunters have opinions that are all over the map, just because your or I may not agree with everyones opinion doesn't mean that they aren't entitled to voice them. If anything it's your and my choice to keep coming back and reading it.

Thinking about it in terms of them ever proving you did something wrong, unless it was a fresh head, there would be no way for them to know it wasn't a rack that you or your brother or father etc harvested years before. Unless you're mandated to keep filled tags for ever.. which I don't think we are. My main feeling is that if you're not doing anything illegal then why not call, it probably gets added into their statistical analysis too when they know it's sex / points etc. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
