  1. A few years ago I had three opportunities on the same deer. I was using an Oneida Eagle and it was so loud and slow that the deer got out of the arrows path before the arrow could get there. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  2. I have 58 acres, not gonna want to run that kind of copper. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  3. Got to look into what kind of draw they have, could add panels to the cameras to help with WiFi SD power consumption. Got to be a way to do it that doesn't require a Tesla coil Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  4. Unix sysadmin background here Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  5. Nah I'm thinking 10+ cams Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  6. I think they push as each picture is taken, if in range of a signal, if signal is not in range, it pushes all when it comes in range. I was thinking : http://www.scientificsales.com/7654-Long-Range-Repeater-Solar-Powered-p/7654.htm with http://www.scientificsales.com/7660-Yagi-Antenna-p/7660.htm and then the cameras with these : http://www.amazon.com/Eye-Fi-Connect-Wireless-Memory-EYE-FI-4CN/dp/B003DV4234/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381270109&sr=8-1&keywords=wireless+sd+card
  7. Main reason for the post is I've been working on an idea for using solar powered wireless repeaters throughout my woods, then having WiFi enabled cards in the cameras so I can pull the photos from my shed. Was wondering if you or anyone you knew had attempted such a thing. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  8. just wondering if any of you folks on here work in IT industries, I do...
  9. been lucky to never have one lifted off my own property, has happened on other parcels I have access to though. I bought a letter punch kit and mark them with my phone number in two places, one noticeable, the other a little harder to find if you're not aware where to look.
  10. that's how I read it too, nock coming off string.
  11. I have the viper SD , both halves tied together, I wear a harness. Gotta say it's one of my favorite stands, and by far my most comfortable. Had trouble going down a tree once, but that's cos I went up a tree that was leaning, it was easy going up, not so easy going down. Using my harness / linemans belt / the stand I made it, but it was slow going.
  12. I personally use AJ's , yes they have top shelf items, yes those items are expensive, but AJ's prices aren't too far out of whack from what you find elsewhere. I find them to be honest and straight to the point. I don't hesitate to recommend them.
  13. your one didn't bend though until hitting the ground if I remember correctly, wasn't it something to do with being too loose and standing too close to the pivot point?
  14. have you ever weighed yourself with gear on etc? Think that stand is only rated to 250lbs
  15. Supposed to have a pic? Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  16. Scent? Moving too much? Parking somewhere that affects their movement on the way to your stand? Jumping them early in their path? Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  17. Closes up real small, mine attaches with strap Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  18. Bought one 2 years ago, haven't used it yet Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  19. My biggest concern is loss of track in the rain. If your worst possible hit ends up connecting, will blood still be there 3 hours from now? Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  20. Started raining hard here. May have to have an early day if it continues Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  21. From what I've read , reducing the doe to buck ratio increases chasing.
  22. That's what I was talking about, Madison county charges $15 for an A3 size Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  23. Ground too wet to track on my own land, moved to second spot near Sherrill. Good luck all. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
  24. Larry , Arcgis maybe? Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
