  1. I practice AR in what I shoot. But as for a law that makes everyone do it I'm against it. To many hunters don't have much time to hunt and to have to pass up the only buck you see is not right. There are also alot of hunters that don't care about the horns and want the meat. They will shoot all the legal deer they can and will eat them. There are also area's of the state that the deer densities are low and just seeing a buck is a treat. Still by passing these deer would increase the the age structure but the price of a license one has to get their money's worth. I understand both sides of this delema and I feel it's wrong to dictate to everyone what size buck they have to take.

  2. I have a Lyman single stage press, Lyman powder scale, RCBS powder measurer, Foster powder trickler, Lyman case trimmer, Foster bullet puller (ruins the bullet) RCBS bullet puller (hammer style) Lyman dies and RCBS dies, Lee case lube (wax base not grease) auto priming tube, RCBS dial calipers, assorted other accessories that I haven't thought of.

  3. Mast crops are just a sample of what deer will feed heavily on. But aren't found every where. Mushrooms and ferns are other things deer will consume alot of. My neighbor hit a spike with his car one fall and asked me to gut it for him. I did and opened up the guts to find these red topped mushrooms the size of a half a dollar. With all this rain you can bet the mushrooms will be growing.

    Good luck.

  4. What I've found in years past is it's food related. wether it is apples, corn, acorns usually it is something they are feeding heavily on. If you know someone who gets a deer or a road kill open up there guts and find out what they are feeding on. It seems to happen every year all of a sudden the deer disappear.

  5. I don't bait and I don't believe in baiting. But there is baiting going on all over the place. Many of the neighbors brag about the deer and bear that they've got pic's of on there trail camera's at there bait piles. Yet come hunting season maybe only 10% score on a nice buck. Like I said I don't bait and I have shot a 2 1/2 year old buck 9 out of last 10 years. Just by spending the time in the field and not on the couch.

  6. I don't have a problem with me neighbors we hunt each others property in fact I've shot 15 bucks from a stand I have on my neighbors property. I must be honest if I was hunting and came across ole mossy horns I would most likely shoot it. Unless it was near a house or some other unsafe area. As far as rules there are rules such as one neighbor has placed antler restrictions. I follow the rules the landowner has for there property. I figure theyr'e paying the taxes and if I want to hunt their property I have to follow the rules. I don't post my property and the only rule i have is stay away from the house.

Do you have rules with your neighbors? No, 10 yard, 30 yard, 50 yard, you see'em shoot'em?

It's never been a problem for me but you never know when "old mossy horns" is 30 yards on you neighbors property, what to do!!!!

  7. I can honestly say I have never missed a deer with a ML. Oh wait I have never shot at a deer with a ML. lol I must say that I have killed alot of paper over the years. I'm only going to shoot a buck or bear bigger than what I've shot during gun season. That's just me and have no problem with anyone shooting any legal deer.
