Deer ate my apple tree

Tree tubes are to protect the trunks. i didn't have a problem with the trunks. Trees were on a deer trail and branches were easy pickins for them. I will fence them in this winter. They should be ok through the summer and fall as the deer have other food to eat right now. -
I planted 2 new apple trees last year and the deer destroyed them. Ate braches right down to the trunk. Anyone have any advice on how to prevent this.

There out there. I had an encounter with one of them about 15 years ago while huntin Bear spring Mountain in the catskills. Opening day this moron decided to go running and screeming through the woods thinking he would ruin everyones hunts by spooking the deer. But what this idiot didn't realize was that he was actually driving deer towards the hunters. The more he ran the more gun shots you heard. Turned out to be a great opeing day for a lot of guys. Lol. -
Homemade wine is the way to go, made annually in my basement. Lol

Gino buying a new plot of land? Where? I know you had your plot up by me. Too far or not productive?

New news out today, the guns were legally registered to the kids mother. How do we put gun laws into place to prevent someone in the household of a legal gun owner from going crazy and shooting up the place. Not going to happen. I am a firm believer that where there is a will there is a way and no law is going to stop someone from doing what they want to do.

Finally some deer, spotted a small six this weekend but no shot. Looks like the action is picking up, the rut has begun. Young bucks already chasing does.

I use the hard plastic signes and short roofing nails. Did this to my property 5 years ago and signs are still there and not faded.
