Thanks everyone for the kind words. I haven't spent a lot of time looking at the forums yet. I'm sure I'll have questions as to equipment and places to hunt.

I have a group of friends that hunt and have been trying to get me to go with them for quite a while. No one in my family has ever hunted so I'll be the first. I live in New Jersey and as sooon as registration opens will be taking a safety class. After that I'll find a range and begin to take lessons on firearms. I'm here to learn as much as I can. Hopefully I'll eventually be able to add something to the board as well. Wine is a hobby and has been for years if anyone has any questions.
