With the season looming I just shimmed it. They usually want you to send them the bow. They try to deny is a bad limb from what I've heard. There is a reason you can buy shim kits directly from them. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

Picked up a 2013 hunter. There isn't a smoother drawing bow on the market. The only down side is that due to the dual track cam system limb consistency is a must. Elite had missed that mark. Mine had bad cam lean due to a weak top limb. Had to shim the cams to correct the lean. The lean was causing center shot to be way off. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

Why stop now. I use my bow during regular season. I feel slightly guilty and bring our the rifle for a hunt or two since I spent so much on it. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

So your saying don't hunt if there is any chance it might run on property you don't own or have permission to go on? Not many of us would be hunting then. A buddy of mine just found a deer tracked for several hundred yards. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

Makes me sick that the dad let the kids do that. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

My father has and does do things wrong apparent from my other thread however I was in the woods with him on special hunts starting at 8yrs old. That he did right. I can't wait for my daughter to get out hunting but I will do it responsibly. Doesn't mean she can't come sit in a blind with Dad. I can't wait until she can come with me. After first light. Totally l legal shooting light. Tiny dark brown horns are hard to see in low light conditions. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

Doh think I shot a small 4 pt. Still kind of dark. Deer comes in at 15 yrds. Looks like a doe. Stop it in the lane. Shoot and then I see what looks like small horns. Shot looked good just a bit high. Deer bounds 15 yards and stops. Then walks away slowly. I guess it's possible it ducked the arrow Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

Tired as all get out. Haven't been able to sleep in within the last 2 weeks. I took a night shift today to get out this morning. Perfect morning to get out. Cold with not much wind. Rut is kicking in. If it wasn't for being such a perfect morning I would have stayed in bed for sure. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

Would you turn your own father in for poaching? Your dad only had one tag. Shoots a buck day 2 of the season. Doesnt tag it so he can hunt more. Do you turn him in? Oh also he informs you he saw a 12 pt near your stand he is now going to go hunt. Oh btw you took a week off of work to head to the cabin and hunt with him and my brother all next week?

Sounds like you should have stayed in bed Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

This is a lease with a company that owns various properties. The owner is on board. I'm sure the dude is local. ... more than likely had been hunting it for years without permission. So as of Sunday if it's still there it will be coming home with me. In its place will be a note in a zip lock on how to contract me to get it back. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

Yes the land is posted. The land owner have me authority to kick people off. They put up a stand. More than likely the stand belongs to the owner of one of the adjacent properties so yes they know their property lines Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

The kicker is. ..he is hunting right next to an apple orchard. Why bait when you have actual apple trees in sight! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

I lease a parcel of land bumped up against a few homes. Was hoping I would not have trespassing. Brand new stand about 40 to 50 yards onto my property. Also baiting. The land is an old Apple orchard but there are apples where there should not be. Thinking I put a note saying you have 1 week to move it or lose it. What do you all think?
