I've never seen the Fall Gray in the field but can tell you from experience that the Mossy Oak Treestand pattern is great for after leaf drop. My son used it for the first time this fall and I couldn't see him up in the treestand from 50 yards away! I could see his dark backpack plain as day but thought he had climbed down until I got closer.

I've shot Mathews for the last 10 years. I've been patiently waiting for them to come out with something better than my SBXT for the past few years but every year their lineup is basically the same bow from last year, just tweaked a little. This year may be the year I go to Elite. The new E32 & E35 look sweet! The only drawback with Elite is that some of the 2 track cams can be a pain to tune. I will be looking hard at Elite after hunting season!

Will do Rick. I had my chance this season. Nothing close to that big but it was a nice 8. I just had a brain fart and didn't take the shot for some reason!

I don't think it was snowing that day. He took that pic the next day .Heres one he took the evening he shot it. He rough scored him twice and both times came up with 160.

Yea, this buck my brother shot last Thursday was 193 dressed. No way that thing was 350#

I've been hunting all week at camp and hour and a half away from my house, meanwhile, my brother shot this stud 3 miles from my house! I think its time to hunt closer to home!

My son has this next week off from work and College so we are headed down to camp for a week of Father & Son Whitetail Bowhunting. Should be a great week! Hope to have pics to post when I get back!

I could care less about what bow any of these pro's shoot. They could win with any bow, they are just that good. With that being said, I may be following Levi to Elite soon if Mathews don't come out with something that blows me away this year! I almost pulled the trigger on an Answer this summer and the E32 & E35 looks to be even better

Trust me, I'm no ARod fan either. I just think they totally turned a blind eye to anyone that was using steroids on the Red Sox. The guy that did the investigating for the Mitchell report was a Red Sox fan. How many tests did Manny fail after that report? You cant tell me they didn't have any evidence on him!

My son has all next week off from work and College. Looks like 7 solid days of Bowhunting with my son coming up. I just hope he gets a deer! -
I believe on Long Island you can shoot 2 with the bow during bow season.

I can hunt every day if I want so if the wind is gusting 40-45 mph like they are calling for, I may sleep in. I cant stand swaying around in a tree. Makes it so you have to lead a deer that's standing still! -
Yep, I hate finding trash in the woods! I find those plastic scent bottles laying around all the time. Lazy Bastards!

He is exactly right! I have a ladder stand set up in my back yard that I practice doing this out of all the time.

I would hunt the rub line as close to the bedding area as you can get without spooking the deer. Take the wind direction into consideration too. Most of the time it blows somewhere from the west (W,NW,SW) so you should be on the east side of the bedding area and rub line. Hang a stand and hunt it ASAP, because when they start chasing does around they wont run their rublines as much.
