yeah. i broke down and spent the money on the rage 2 blades. I see Rage has a titanium version out now for 79.99 are you kidding me that is way out of control. They better be heat seeking lol....

For me i have taken a shot at 5 yards all the way out to 40 yards. But i would say the average is like you said 15- 25. I purchased a Trophy Ridge, Alpha v5 this year. and with my Alpha Max, 5 pins puts me at 70 yards. Not that i would ever even think about shooting that far at a deer. But it sure is fun to shoot targets that far out.

This guy is an 8 with a 9th trying on the left side. you can see it on the side profile. as you can see the pics are mid august so hope fully that point developed a little more.

I myself favor Hoyt. last year i retired a 2000 magna-tech sport. for an alpha-max 32 and i couldn't be happier with it. Fast and smooth.

Antler Restrictions - What are your thoughts?

I say give it a try for 3-4 years and see where it goes. If there are definite changes in antler growth and size keep it, if not we didn't really loose to much... My self i hunt by the saying you cant take a great buck if you take the first good one. If i want meat there are plenty of those bald ones running around out there for that. -

Hi guys, This is my first post here. looks like a pretty informational forum. I just wanted to say that i do all my buisiness with a local shop "barretts bow hunting" i bought my alpha max there last year and he had me all set up and out the door quick. I finished 2nd in a local tourny that following weekend so im pretty happy with his work!!!
