Keep an eye out for Fresh Tracks with Randy Newberg as well. Public Land DIY hunting. Along with Meateater, Dropped and Solo Hunters is pretty decent. Shows actually about hunting and not about glorified kill shots.

I've had the same thing happen to me, but I was wearing blue jeans and a SaF T Bak field coat with blaze patches while sitting at base of a tree while squirrel hunting last September. Went on for 15 minutes or so.
I wasn't silhouetted like u though as I was sitting at base of a tree. Makes me wonder if it's just a movement thing.

I'm a 9.5 E. Forefoot not wide enough and lots of heel slippage during a short living room walk. Just won't work for me.
These are goretex and waterproof BTW. And in perfect condition.

These boots do not have an innersole just the Danner Airthotic instep that is pictured. This is how they came.
Brand new never worn. Have been sitting in my fathers closet for about 5 years now, they don't fit either of us good.

I've been lurking here for quite some time now and I figure it's a good time to introduce myself.
This website has provided me with a great deal of information this past year and I wanted to thank you all.
I began hunting again this year after a 25 year layoff. Have always enjoyed being in the woods tho doing
a good amount of hiking and backpacking. Fishing the salt has occupied a lot of my time in the fall...too
bad the best of both hunting and fishing seasons occur at the same time.
I gun and bow hunt Delaware County state land for deer and small game at this point in time....hopefully will hit
the Adirondacks in the next few years for some camp/hunt trips.
I look forward to gaining and sharing info with you all!

I'll take choke tubes if still available
Dragging or Packing?

It is a pleasure to carry. It carries more like a fanny pack. I’m usually hiking in a few miles and out from sunrise to sundown and I choose to carry rain gear, lunch, snacks, h2o, game bags, and a down jacket. I chose the 18 over the 28 so I could dip under branches without getting hung up and/or branch scraping on pack. Which it does very well. I find I can be silent if I walk straight forward, if I turn sideways then sometimes yes if it makes contact with branches it will make noise, it’s cordura.
It is the best pack available without customization in my opinion.
Here’s a few picks of last years packout
