I always have my iphone with me in case of emergency. DEC wasnt helpful last year. either were state police. town police wouldnt press charges, only go talk to them. wouldnt even go and look at what was cut down by them. You try to do things within the law, but after a while enough is enough.

I had a young buck grunting up a storm and running does for about 20 minutes while I was walking out from my stand. heard the higher pitch grunt and was waiting for the big boy to step in.

his wife is a pig. wouldnt touch that though. I am gonna move the cams around and put the cellphone cam somewhere that the goofs will walk through. dont have the security boxes for the cams. besides the boxes what could you use to at least make it so they cant open them?

you have no idea how bad it is. I could write a book on what goofs these guys are. their land is posted like crazy. dont go on their land, but they figure they can go on anyone elses land and nothing happens to them. When I told them I hunt and I dont want them on my land they hunt stands that are right on the property line or within 5ft of it. there are 3 that I found. nosey sob's. always driving by slow and staring. then try to be buddy buddy with ya. If you looked up a-holes in the dictionary you would see a picture of them. every dog has his day, but I hope mine comes soon

yup. dont lock the cameras, but I think I will from now on. I was looking for a reason to go ape sh!t on them so left the cameras easy access to steal. maybe they just erase the pic it takes of them.

So I pull into my field yesterday and see a deer feeding. dont know what it was. figured I should wait so as not to spook it. I can my truck from my stand so where I park my truck I know the area to look where my stand is. So as I watch the field I see something in the area of my stand. NowI know it wasnt an alien ship, bigfoot, or a cougar. It was a flashlight halfway up the treeline that descended to the ground then disapeared. I know it was my neighbor that decided he was gonna sit in my stand. I have noticed as well that the deer do not want anything to do with that area as of late. cam pics are next to nothing. I have had problems with them before and all they do is deny hunting my property. I am to say the least P#ssed off!!! They need to get the point that trespassing will not be tolerated. Any ideas on how to get my point across? any thoughts on what to do? Talking doesnt work. An a##whooping seems like a good idea but I dont need a police record

where abouts in OC are you? how far are you willing to drive? there are some places that make great jerky , burgers and everything else with deer. some are not in OC but I know people that drive an hour and a half to get deer processed

there was a video last night on tv showing shelves were empty and carts were just left in the main isle heaping full of food. they were left after the ebt system was shut down because of the "glitch". how do you return food? Get the second opinion and also take it easy with that shoulder. does regular movement bother the shoulder or just anything requiring strength? have you tried getting the wife to rub it? The shoulder may need a good massage and an aspirin to get it going .

I have hunted with my dad since I was 8. didnt carry a gun till I was 10. that gun was a BB gun until I was old enought o get my liscence. I pushed the bush for rabbits and pheasants and hauled out the harvest in the back pouch of my vest. that was my job. I learned alot in those years and then graduated to turkey and deer hunting . I put my time in in the woods being shown the tracks rubs beds trails and everything else that goes with deer hunting. I wont be lumped into a large group just because I use trail cams. when I retire in 30 years and if we are allowed to hunt, then maybe I can bitch about the kids these days and using technology because I will have 24 hours in a day to worry about what has to be done andnot about work, family, and everything else

WOW!!! so a cam set up on a trail or food plot is a bad thing. you have time to scout alot must be. I on the other hand work my butt off nonstop, have a family i spend alot of time with, and for that matter my son wouldnt have it any other way. So because my scouting is helped by cams and instead of having to mow 4 acres all the time I decide to plant something to help the deer, by the way I dont hunt over it. dont lump everybody in one category and shoot your mouth off. the cameras help when I cant be up on my land to see what or who is on there. got a pic of a black bear by utica a few weeks ago, hadnt seen one around here before. wouldnt have known it without the cam. if you feel so strongly about technology then get rid of your guns and bow then build your own recurve,arrows, and stone arrowheads then you are justified in bitching about technology

covert is the way to go with spypoint in 2nd place. both my coverts take almost perfect pics. spypoints i have owned for 13 and 14 months. warrenty is a year on spypoint and as of right now they wont do anything. I started talking to cs mid august. covert prices are good. if you check around or go to wingsupply.com you will see spending a little more will get you more of a cam. I will never buy another primos or stealthcam. they are a waste of money in my book.

damn!!!!!! I could never be that lucky to find a beater like that. run the tires off it and if it blows up in the first two days thtas what it would have cost ya to rent one for a day or two. anything after that and its a win win.

OK, I have a problem.... the deer that have had ipcs taken daily for the past month are no-shows since last week. Does anyone know what crops or mast is dropping or ready right now that would change the deer movement like this. I have a bunch of apple trees that are dropping apples big time. I wonder if my neighbors, (they are deer poachers) have anything to do with this. The past 2 years this happened. It goes from tons of deer to next to nothing. only cam thats producing right now is the cam in the big foodplot. I am scratching my head as to what would make the deer stop coming through like this. any ideas??????
