  1. 66 John Street is a pain in the a$$. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I'd set up a decoy and distress call and pick them off as they come. You may not get all of them but if you take a few, the others might think of that area as a danger zone and keep away. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I've had neighbors use the ivory soap before to keep deer away...he swears by it and I had not seen a single deer in his field where the soap was...
  4. I haven't seen a woodchuck by my property in atleast 10 years. Coyotes are all over the place. Gonna be a fun winter trying to eliminate a few problems. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. It looks to be not affecting the jaw bone at all, thank God. Terrible to see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Awesome pics! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. If your going to mount the buck hang it by its hind legs. The blood fills the neck and keeps the hair healthy. Makes for a much better mount. Other than that as long as the nighttime temps are chilly, you should be fine for a day or two. I've had a deer hang for 3 days before bringing it to the butcher and lost no meat. Make sure you put a stick inside to keep the rib cage open so the air can get to it. Temps were around 40-45 during he day and 30-40 nighttime. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I would have no problem introducing any poacher to the front of my truck. I hate them all. The straight disrespect of the animal, sport and woods make me want to hunt them instead of deer. I saw this on Facebook as well and nearly threw up. It's disgusting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I've read before that an arrow has more kinetic energy at 30 yds then a bullet.....and I am a firm believer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Nice healthy deer. I'd say around maybe 3.5 90"-110". Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Personally, when I harvest a deer, I get it back to camp, hang it and then fill the tag. This is on private property pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Is that illegal/wrong? I'll give the guy benefit of the doubt and say we can't see it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Far from it lol. I think the buck is huge. No doubt. I was simply saying the reason the picture looks off is because of the angle/position of guy in photo. Kinda like saying a home run was too high. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Nice deer I saw and heard was taken in Suffolk...anyone hear anything on this one? Looks like a real nice buck. I left the hunters head half cut. Don't want to offend the hunter if he didn't want to share. Got this in a text and have seen it up on other forums Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I think he's a very healthy 1.5. Body doesn't look that big to be considered an older deer in my book Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I'm putting out the cameras again next weekend until last day of bow. It worked last year, trying again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I've got 2 different bucks. The split for the g3 on the right antler looks different on both deer. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I really think it has to do with the guy being 3-4ft behind the buck (almost on the opposite side of the truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Either way the buck is massive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Take a look at the bed, the guy is standing on the opposite side of the gate as the deer, prob 3ft further back. . Look at the circle cutouts. Avg gate width I'd say is close to 5ft and the camera man has to be close and short. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I have been in the woods 1 day this season thanks to a herniated disc pressing. On my nerve. I would kill to barely see anything in the woods then lay in bed. I've got a week and half off starting 2 days before opening rifle. Gonna hunt as hard as I can during that time. Good luck and shoot straight! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Your daily access parking permit as well as a parking number for the spot you will be hunting. Unless you do not need to check in at ridge check station. In the woods, hunting license, bow tag, daily access permit, should prob keep drivers license too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. i hope it is a fair chase deer....beautiful rack... face looks a little old, so maybe, just maybe, we can see a legit giant this year
  24. Guess-timating him to be between 300-400 from pics and track Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. 3.5 10pt 110"-120". Would love a chance at him. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
