Friendly reminder, check your equipment up in the stand. Just did a test draw only to find out my peep wasn't lining up cuz of the cold weather and needed to be twisted into the right spot. Would have been screwed if one walked by. All misspellings courtesy of iPhone -

First time out after the antler restriction and a beautiful morning in 9F. Perfect wind direction. Fingers crossed! All misspellings courtesy of iPhone -

A great side arm would be the TC 7mm-08 like mine!!! Pretty sure you can carry during bow season as long as you have a CCW. Correct me if I'm wrong in that aspect. All misspellings courtesy of iPhone

Thanks everyone! It was a hell of a rush to do two with a muzzleloader. The story was about 9 am I had 5 doe come in behind me and being that this was going to be my last time out for the year I looked for the biggest lead doe found my opening and squeezed off. She went down in 30 yards. Then to my surprise I looked and saw this buck running and stopped in the same exact area! He started to run off and I let out a couple grunts with my mouth while I reloaded and he started to come back. Waited for him to come from behind the tree and squeezed off again. He went down 40 yards from her. Needless to say doing all this with a smoke pole was AWESOME! And I can't say enough good things about my TC Encore! All misspellings courtesy of iPhone

Think I just found a new spot that will be incredible for gun inside a hemlock. How insane am I to try and put up a stand now? I'm really having a hard time with telling myself not to. All misspellings courtesy of iPhone

Well every year for the past 4 years on same date in a 200 yard radius I've seen a huge buck and every year including today they done something to bust me. Held my bow at full draw for a solid 3-5 min before I had to finally let down. It was over from there. All misspellings courtesy of iPhone
