Long Lake not Loon Lake. I'm very surprised no one on here hasn't hunted or know anything that they can pass on. Oh well looks like it will be a season of just walking and learning the land.

Just curious to see if anyone on here has hunted in Loon Lake area? Specifically, Sabattis road and the state land next to it. I know its in Warren County, just outside of Tupper Lake, NY and the WMU is 5H. That's it!!! I need help if I want to salvage the hunting season. A group of us are looking at a lease in that area and I'm curious about the hunting. Any information people can give me regarding this place would be great. I know I'm being pretty vague but I don't know anything else about the area and what it has to offer. What better place than here to try and find some information. Thanks! Hello everybody! Like most, I've been looking in from the outside and finally sat downt to create an account. I've been hunting with my father and uncle since I was 10 years old. I'd follow every move while with them in the woods and listened to every word they spoke to me. I give the credit to them for most of the deer I have killed in my time. Without them, I wouldn't be the hunter I am today. I live in Upstate New York(Upstate meaning, North of Albany) and do most of my hunting in St. Lawrence County.
