    many states have these seasons and programs and they seem to work fine. The youth season really is not going to impact the hunting at all, and if you feel that bow hunters in the woods during youth weekend is dangerous than don't hunt. I am so happy that the sate is lengthening the season, we usually get things taken from the sportsman and giving us a longer season is very great news. Deer are used to slot of shooting and noise on columbus day weekend anyway with it being a popular vacation weekend with people shooting guns and riding atv's.

    If you don't like the Oct 1st opener than don't hunt, plain and simple.......I can't wait to be able to go up for the opening of duck season for ducks in the morning and deer in the afternoon!

    fishings been good on the south shore, Ive been getting nice bass in the back bays by jones inlet.

    Coulstons duration tick formula and sawyer are the best there is Period! I have been using it in the pine barrans for 6 years and never got a tick on me. Only way I get ticks is when im gutting a deer with my sleeves rolled up. Also spray a kiddie pool with it and hang yur deer over it, as the tick fall off they will fall into the kiddie pool and not go allover your yard or garage.

    go talk to Dave there behind Carvel on the west side of the bulding just walk down the stairs I belive they open at 2pm during the week days not too shoure of the week ends papabear ive known Dave for quite sometime... Infact i have hunted with him twice with a buddy back in the day. His ethics and routine are alittle on the funny side and last i spoke with him he was not selling mathews... this was atleast 3 years ago. Maybe things have changed Dave is great, hes my surfing buddy. He cracks me up.

    Anyone else have this problem, I hunted deleware county for 2 days with no birds heard, alot of other confirmed the same. How bout everyone else?

    Ill be taking a kid out on Long Islands first spring youthhunt in saturday, Im more excited than the kid.

    yea i looked at the Apex too......BTW, the Bohning was onsale 2 weeks ago at gander.

    Go by the law of the land.........I just got permission to 60 acres in zone 2 on the ny border of greenville NY. The sept 10th start to the season is very tempting! Is it legal to bait turkeys in NJ?

    shooting the bow once and a while, gettin ready for striped bass, and scouting outeast alot.

    well im liking what im hearing. LI would also be alot less pressured in early october.

    I heard that there might be an october 1st start to the southern zone bowseason. Please say it might be true. Anyone? Ide love to duckhunt in the morning and bowhunt in the afternoon in early october.

    Never even bought one, I salterwater fish almost everyday of the season and never got checked.

    I shoot Beeman ICS camohunters, I use them because its what came in the pacage when i bought my bow. They shoot great, kill deer, so I say why fix whats not broke?

    yea i would definetly reccommend the Nockturnal nocks.

    Yea I heard the G5's were junk, luminocks could have problems, and firenocks were good too but expensive. These nockturnals will be on all my arrows next fall.
