good bye just another forum full of wannabe bowhunters. A bunch of immature children sitting in front of their computer just waiting to pick a part on what somebody has to say. have fun with yourselves you're all a bunch of phonies. Will not waist another minute on this forum.

hey weasle, just trying to start a topic to talk about. u just seem like a constant basher guy, hiding behind your computer. dont comment if its not constructive or interesting.

jjb4900 yes u have a great point. tracking a wounded deer and finding it is #1 priority. but if u hunt long island, there are assigned parking spots on state and county land. the hunters knew i was in the woods because my truck was parked in a DEC parking area. if its not raining, just give the guy hunting a little time in the woods without someone blowing the deer out into the next town. and yes, the deer was found and there was a big loud celebration.

2 weeks ago in my stand an hour and a half before sunrise. I see a light coming in through the woods getting closer and closer to me. After an hour of flashing my light at the light coming closer to me, I can see 2 guys. 40 yards away from me, looking at the ground. It was a Wednesday afternoon. I took off of work and there they are. They just ruined my hunt for the day. I said to them, "What are you doing". They said, "Tracking a deer I shot last night". My hunt was over and I just wasted $300. Please, guys. If you see a truck at a hunting location. Wait until at least 10:00 AM. The guy hunting took off from work. You should take off too and wait.

That deer is not jumping that fence. Look at the body on that deer. He's fat and out of shape from eating doughnuts all day. Open the gate and let him free. Like they freed Willy. LOL

Obviously the deer is not happy. He is showing his aggressions by tearing up all the trees when he is in his rut. The deer has to be near 5-6 years old. If the neighborhood had any compassion for the animal they would have the gate opened and the deer set free. That massive deer should be out of that pen spreading his genes around and living a happy life in the woods before its too late. I am a dedicated bowhunter. Believe me, I would love to have that mount hanging on my wall. But he is doing nobody good inside that pen. Let him free silly neighborhood. Also, somebody is going to get hurt. That is a wild animal. You don't feed deer like that especially this time of year.

First of all they enjoy doing it .where is the sport when you shut somthing in the dark with night vision and a high powered rifle.also on overtime that u and i pay for.open up the farms to serious bow hunters and we will do it for free.and the state parks to.

i know for a fact, sharpshooters are in heckscher state park and connetquot. i didnt know there were other parts of long island killing deer. thats BS. they should just allow bow hunting a month earlier. also, just to let u know, a couple of DEC officers are on nuisance permits, slaughtering deer by the hundreds on those farms that we wish we can hunt on (thats what i heard).

Anybody hunt the east end lately?
