  1. Theres a few... lots are located in Scaghticoke when the Deer Cutting signs come up in a week or two i can send you the numbers that they have posted.
  2. bowhunting- maybe 15 or so regular- nearly everyday after school maybe 2 or 3 skips muzzleloader-15 or so days
  3. It worked pretty good on my dog after she got sprayed by a skunk.
  4. i actually have had better luck with the double bungies then with the single strap
  5. Been on the hunt for a reasonable 6x12 enclosed trailer around Albany. I have seen a few on craigslist but most want an arm and leg for them. I dont need something brand new like most of the ones on the internet ill just be hauling decoys...Thanks
  6. Ya tryed shooting when i got home. First arrow i shoot i pull back hear something snap and see my arrow sail off into the sunset, talk about pissed. turns out the "pro shop" tyed my loop wrong and it came undone...thankfully i had an arrow knocked so the only i lost was that...and didnt dry fire my new bow. Ran out and got it fixed and then i shot for crap the rest of the night. i think i was just nervous that the idiot tyed the new one on right.
  7. I also love to get them as close as possible... but practicing from 40 and 50 makes those 20 and 30 yrd shots seem stupid easy. I do have a level...but im not sure if i looked at it...im going to shoot in a couple hours we'll see.
  8. Well, last night was the first time I had experimented out to 50. It was getting darker but I still managed to shoot a 4 in group after I got the correct height set on my sight (I use a tru glow range rover) but they were all to the left a few inches of the bull. So after I get out of school I will try again and see if it was me or not. I have a fairly thick pin and it covers the bull at 50 so I may try to shoot at 60 but that will be all my sight will handle i believe....as my yardage marks are getting fairly close to the top of the single pin sight.
  9. I noticed that alot of you have started to practice...how are you shooting? I started shooting about three weeks ago and doing ok...better than usual with the new bow. What would you guys consider to be a good group at 50 yards? ( Which is the maximum i can shoot in the front lawn.)
  10. I also place it on my backtag, remember to register for your HIP number, and if you plan to hunt early goose you need last years license.
  11. Ya no one has done anything around me yet either, and i have not seen many flying
  12. I have never done it myself but heard from friends that last winter with the high snow, the coyotes where tiring after running only several hundred yards making an easy approach and shot from the hunter
  13. Im looking for a new stabilizer to replace my limbsaver on my bow. The limbsaver controls vibration but does very little to help steady the bow. Does anyone have any input for a cheaper stabilizer that controls vibrations but also helps maintain a steadier shot?
  14. My old deer butcher had several instances were he was cut by people leaving knives in the gut cavity, He changed the policy and last i heard he charged you ten bucks and got to keep the knife if you left it in the deer.
  15. Ya we are overflowing with Tomatoes as well... 1500 plants planted a few weeks apart in stages and they all decide to ripen at once....Ya Hoo
  16. Was in Clifton park and didnt feel a thing, mother was in Troy she felt it along with her coworkers. My sister was at the Washington County Fair, and she felt it.
  17. It seems lately my party has been "important" too..at least to DEC standards while waterfowl hunting we're always getting visits, and we've yet to recieve one. LOL
  18. I have had my license for 14 years and still have yet to recieve one. Its just a credit card to inform Dec of the license you have......i've been told . Without out one i have had Encon call and check on the details of my license, which is a major pain in the ass if your in the middle of a hunt.
  19. Yes it would be, the grinder actually combines a pulley with the optional handle. I have it mounted to a piece of plywood with a 1/2 horse motor running it. I have never stopped it with meat, but the nasty pork fat does wrap the grinding plates and blades pretty good. It loves half frozen meat and will grind it faster than we can feed it. Im going to be purchasing a smaller diameter plate very soon.
  20. I got a hand operated one at tractor supply for 100 bucks. Seems to work very good and company claims it will do 600 pounds an hour.
  21. Not sure of any ranges but the bowfishing opportunitys are endless at Saratoga Lake.
  22. I am not one to stick up for DEC as I believe the majority of the officers are arrogant pieces of________.... But I believe you are mistaken on that point.
  23. I have used the Tracer Arrow nocks. They're sweet if they stay on the shaft. It looks like a tracer when shot at dusk, making for a fun target session.
