What's the model of your Garmin?

I heard lots of hunters & hikers in that area, and am one of them.

Any suggestion on what you use for an odorless or scent free repellant? I read about Permethrin (5% or 10%), but I would like to hear from all you long time hunter's. Thank you!

I think I will just make a colored copy, place on a holder & necklaced it in my back. The original will be inside the bag with the tags. Still compliant...

Hi Elmo - I'm trying to prepare early as much as I can. But the license class opportunity took so long before I can find somewhere closer. But now I got it, finally. it's time for the next step... hunt location & partner.

Thanks for the reply. Do you put it where it is visible in some kind of doc pouch envelope or something? I was reading the Hunting Guidelines, & it said it should be in the middle of your back. Just wandering how you attach it...

How do you display your license tag, front or back? How do you tag your kill ?

Hello fellow hunters Here to learn more from pro & hobby hunters, & share as well... if I can. I used to hunt in TX, mostly in the open lands, deer, boar, birds, using rifle, shotguns & pistols. Now I would like to try bow hunting, but still use firearm during gun season I live in Westchester county & am looking for hunting partner whether pro or newbie, as I have no clue here in NY & always believe 2 is better than 1. I would be interested in hiking or scouting any areas (public/private) before bringing any weapon. Looking forward to learn from you guys... cheers
