  3. Cooking just won’t get you the texture you are looking for it would have to be dried. Cooking will leave the meat too soft so to speak Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It’s funny great minds think alike. I’m going to be doing the same thing when I get back from vacation in a few weeks. I’ll text you something later today that should work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Even with the inline My one concern with this process would be the scope. But I guess I could just pour the water down the Barrel with the inline Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Still hunted for 3 hours today, saw a few does that I chose not to shoot. Went onto the neighbors as he gave me permission as he is done for the season. Saw a ton of sign at the middle and bottom of his ridge. I’m going to ask him if he would care if I put a ladder stand there next year. He is 75 his house is at the top of the mountain and he only hunts the very top close to his house. He doesn’t bow hunt so I think I’m going to ask if I can put it there and only hunt it during bow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. So what would you recommend to clean a muzzleloader Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Just wanted to throw this out there to CVA users. You do not NEED the special breech plug to use blackhorn. Yes it is a good idea yes I will be getting one but for those of you that want to make a quick switch it is possible. I have been using Blackhorn with the regular breech plug. It works just fine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. You got this! We can all tell from your posts how strong you are! Nothing can stop you that’s for sure! I hope you get that woods time you need to clear your head Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Full disclosure a little further down the road is also a old deteriorated tree house stand that used to belong to the old neighbor. I’ve heard around town that he took many great bucks, so it really could be worth a shot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Yea I will say I saw a good amount of tracks there in the snow. I know there is a creek crossing they use that puts them on the logging road. I also no that If they are trying to go east west on that part of the property they either have to walk along this very very steep ridge or they could be lazy and take the logging road Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I’m not going to ignore him but I’m really going to make a concerted effort to no longer respond or get sucked into the dark storm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. So I’ve had my camp for a few years now, I have always heard that lots of old timers used to bring a 5 gallon bucket in the woods with them turn it upside down and use it as a seat when they hunted. Well along my logging road on a very steep section of hill is a old 5 gallon bucked upside down on a flat little bench. I have always wondered if someone used to hunt from that bucket. It does seem like a good spot and for some reason I have never hunted it. It looks down on the logging road which is a great funnel as below it is a steep drop off and then the creek. I’m thinking a may sit that bucked Saturday afternoon and see what happens, any thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. To blame? That was about the only worthwhile part of this thread Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. There are some that would say KY is the perfect lube for the breech end [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. @WNYBuckHunter I believe the use of my pic in this post is the kind of personal attack that should get this guy banned? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. It for sure was, I didn’t have time to get the special plug but you were right it can be used without it. For sure cleaner and very accurate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
