    . With that you don't want to fully freeze you want to get it almost frozen..... And put grinder in freezer

    As a classically trained chef, I will tell you it is best not to thaw and re freeze. You will be ok but it will kill all the shelf life on it if you defrost it and don't eat it the same day. You are also forcing all the moisture out of the meat and could wind up with some very dry steaks

    So I will be starting a new job in a week and a half that will have me in the Binghamton area a lot during the week. Does anyone know any public land in the area that would be pretty easy to access for a few afternoon hunts

    . Finally got it done today, not a buck but she was one big doe.... No tracking job. Watched her drop... This is the only picture due to the pouring rain. Got her and 9 yard on the ground walking to my stand... Shot was actually too far forward but the arrow blew through both shoulder blades.

    . Listen I hate to say this because because I love upstate and want to move up some day but New York west of the Hudson could not survive without east and the city....without the city and east of the Hudson New York would be one of the poorest states in the country
