So I have a climber but the deer are all staying by the apples we have here there are a bunch of pines over there that I can't use the climber with! What if I get a ladder and hang the bottom, have gf put the ladder away once I'm in the stand have her get me when I'm ready to leave

No need to take a shot at everyone from down state! I know plenty of places upstate where the locals do what ever they please leave deer and cut out the back straps ext! It has nothing to do with where you're from it's all about who you are

Just wanted to say this gun is amazing! Sighted it in today at blue mountain. Was way right when I started by the end of the 40 rounds I bought I was hitting a quater at 100 yards every time. Next weekend I'm gunna shoot at 200 for fun. I could shoot up to 350 upstate this weekend but I'd rather bow hunt and not disturb anything.

Tomorrow is my last work day till the 11th!

Thanks guys! That's what I thought! I love the gun and would hate to not be able to get it! On a side note gander mountain really pissed me off! Even though I spent 800 on the gun and want to buy the scope from them they still want 30 bucks to mount and bore site it, dicks told me buy the scope from us and we will do it for free! Now that's great customer service

I have a question I just ordered a Remington 700 sps tactical off of gander mountains web site, someone told me today that Because the rifle has a threaded barrel I might I trouble picking it up because if NYS law is this true..... I thought with bolt action it was ok

Things are looking up, saw two 10 points with 7 does in the field when I was leaving on Monday, I'm hoping one of them is the deer that has been rubbing in the area of my stand

It war rolled up did that when I put the release on! Just really weird and bugging me bad! I wanted that deer and would have been cool with the gf watching, first weekend hunting her family's place

Could be it was a reaper so that really shouldn't happen but also very possible

I didn't think it did but that is more than possible it really took a hard dive like it just ran out of gas

So for those of you that read my story over the weekend, this dumb ass left my verizon hot spot that I need for work at my girlfriends place in liberty, so today around two we drove back up there to get it, right before we left I decided to pull the truck forward and take a peek into the apple trees, there was a lone doe feeding in there, I decided f$/@ it, backed up, reached into the back seat put on my release grabbed my bow and creator out of the truck, I sneaked around the corner of the house and walked up the embankment to the top of the garage, that's when my eyes met hers standing about 35 to 40 yards away and about 9 feet below me, I froze wearing a bright red dress shirt and dress pants, she went back to feeding and I drew while taking another 5 big steps putting me at what I estimate to be 28 yards she looks up as I squeeze the release I watch the arrow head stright for her and about 5 yards in front of her nose dive and hit the ground right under her, I'm wondering what would make my arrow do that, a really sharp nose dive out of no where, 2nd fun and cool expirence on this property in less than two days, can't wait to go back in two weeks'n

Sounds like a bunch of us are in good shape to at least get a piece of it
