Tenderloins are for sure a loss… everything else seems fine, honestly there was a ton of blood in the cavity in front of the diaphragm and while the guts were swollen and stunk there wasn’t a ton of guy mess in the cavity Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey you leave @bizct out of this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry to hear that and thanks, I’m hunting suburban woods if I get 5 pics of coyotes on my cam all year it’s a lot. I figured I was good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hahah so he was for sure gut shot, the arrow exited out the ham. Much harder quarter than I thought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Honestly I 100% thought it was but I guess I shot a different deer last week. This is the buck I’ve had pictures of for 3 seasons now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Well the shit was better than I thought he didn’t even go 70 yards target buck down Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Slowly getting ready. Gunna make some coffee, eat a small breakfast and get out there at first light. Hopefully he didn’t go far Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don’t push yourself too hard, but have fun! Awesome that he’s going out with you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks man, I’m about 45 min south of there. I should be fine I really don’t think the deer went very far I’m just trying to be extra careful. I really think I heard him crash. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Trust me I’m still kind of shaking. But going out there now with a light just increases my chances of loosing the deer.my alarm is set for before sunrise and I will walk in with the grey light. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No the last buck was 100% broadside. This was not a hard quartet at all. Just slight. The other shot I just messed up and shot high Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There is actually zero fat on that arrow. It’s all blood it’s just the way it looks in the picture. Shot was in a decent spot deer was just quartered to Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Quartering too, arrow had a sweet sourish smell to it, there were two drops of blood 15 yards from the arrow. Small drops blood a little dark on the arrow…. It’s going to be cool tonight and after the lost buck a few weeks ago I just figured it would be better to back out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Shot, waited 30 min looked at arrow. Found 2 spots of blood 15 yards from the arrow and backed out. Will be out with the sun in the morning. Arrow didn’t smell like guts per say but did smell sweet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well things went from bad to really cool. Just had two small bucks come in and spar. Some does showed up to watch . Then a big boy came in and pushed them all out. Of course it all happened in the brush and I never drew my bow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So mad right now, just had two clowns walk under my stand with crossbows. It’s public land and can’t access unless you live here. It was 100% the same guy that stole my cell cam last year. I pointed out it’s not crossbow season yet and he told me he didn’t care. I then said I want my fffing camera back and that I have pictures of him stealing it. That’s when they turned around and left. I know what house they park at and I called my sister in law. She watched them walk out of the woods and into a car. She snapped some pics of the plate. My hunting partner lives down the street and is a LEO in the town. These two clowns will not be very happy when he gets back to work on Monday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Up and in, it’s hot as hell Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would cook it first unless you’re using a pre made broth. You will no extract enough chicken flavor into the broth through just canning. Plus a good broth is made with bones not meat. Or a combo of the two Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They just take the skull cap and put it on a new cape I don’t think they sew them together Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What does it cost to replace a cape vs mount on the one it came on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
