I enjoy reading all the posts. This is my first one.....Out in 7J yesterday morning before the snow with my crossbow. About 7:45am, a lone buck walks down the wooded hill about 50 yds to my right and into a field. I can tell he is a shooter but was disappointed as he hit the field and kept going. About 80 yds into the field he stopped for a bite and I was quick to grab the rattling bag. One rattle, his head came up and he looked over. Another rattle and he headed back toward me. He stopped near me on the edge of the woods at about 20 yds but I didn't have a shot due to trees. He started walking again and cleared for a shot. I bleated to stop him and let it fly as he was very slightly quartering away. The hit sounded good, he kicked, ran and was on the ground in 50 yards. I am convinced I would have never gotten a shot if it wasn't for the Rattling. The white vanes on the bolt were red after the pass through. When I got to him, I was blown away by the size of the entry hole with the Rage 2 blade Crossbow X. Showing a pic of the exit wound as well. The broadhead went straight through the heart in a clean cut. This is my first year hunting with them but I haven't seen anything like this entry before. Good luck to all!
