only issue is if that buck is out too far you wish you had a gun.I like to hunt the thick stuff during gun with my bow.Thick trails and cooridors.Half my stands are over kill for a gun any way. NO rules against using a bow during gun.You can use any thing legal during gun season such as ML,shot gun,bow,or if allowed in area crosss bow or rifle.

Had a bunch of turkeys come in behind me on the other side of the little valley i was backed up to.They were coming my way then flew to roost.I sat past dark so they didn't spook.Think they will be there in the morning?I might just go get me some turkey dinner.Set up in the hard woods 100 yrds away and wait till sunrise.Then call em in.

You will be soo addicted once you bow hunt.I hate seeing bow season end.I have gone out with my bow during gun in certain stands and if i get two tags filled with my bow i only hunt with grandaddys hawkins 50.cal.during gun. I think this year i am just hunting with bow.I love the challenge.

the chick in the video got me to look then she walked in the door and the video went to crap,. The stand seat looks like it could be not too very comfortable.It looks light but the platform looks small. I think a summit with MOLLY pack straps is a good setup.

squirt some vanilla extract mixed with almond extract on some leaves around your stand.It will cause both sexes to be curious.I buy mine at real deals or dollar store for like 1 or 2 dollars a bottle.I use an old doe pee spray bottle i got years back.I just use the sprayer part and it screws right on to the vanilla or almond extract bottle. BTW.it is not baiting or feeding.Your just spraying it on some leaves and using it as an attractant.It doesn't sit on the ground and cause deer to swap saliva like bait piles do.

Not a green laser.Hahaha. And it was about 100 yards off.In a valley.Pretty much a creek bed that is dry.There is kinda a ridge on the end and it goes around a swamp that is off my hunting grounds.Looks like it went past the property line around that ridge.Flash after flash like a lighning bug that was as bright as a flashlight. Probably some one tresspassing.I looked for prints at the mouth of the valley.I wen't out another way.Didn't want to stink up that area since it is a run for the deer.Hope it was some yahoo messing up my run.Probably was.

I saw what looked like a flash light flash then go away.I sat and watched as i was getting in my stand.It would flash like a lightning bug but was bright,like a flash light.It didn't light any surroundings up and didn't last but just a flash.I knida thought some one was just flicking it on to see the ground real fast then off,trying to be stealth since it is posted ground.It went down an area that wasn't that great of a trail but could be walked.It wen't around the ridge bend. Are there lighning bugs(fire flys) out now?Be the first i ever seen one on watch in late oct.

i have the Rage X-treme 2.3's and i have had to loosten the BH up and put the blade back under the collar then retighten it a few times so far.When i have taken them out of my Quickie Quiver they have come out of the collar.My arrows fit tight in the bottom part of the quver that holds the shaft. the BH cover part of my quiver doesn't hit the blades.And it doesn't have foam in the quiver so it isn't that.I think it is just from the impact of taking the arrow out. The collar only goes on one way too. I still think they are better than my Rage 2 blades with the O-ring.I had to use some electrical tape on my oring grove once last year at the end of the season when i was out of O-rings.It worked though.
