He definitely was caught in a trap. However, the foot didn't have any signs of infection or open wounds.

Yeah, his foot was pretty messed up from a trap. However, it was completely healed and there was no visible wounds or infection. Tough little critters!

We use Harris. Harris manufactures many different types of bipods, but we specifically use the Ultralight model with 13.5 to 27 inch pivoting head. We have found this range of height is perfect when in the seated position. The pivoting action is crucial to a level sight plane and minor adjustments to make the perfect shot. We all have those hunts that we say we will always remember. This one, for us, was one for the record books….literally. We were privileged enough to harvest two NY trophy birds on the same hunt that would take the 5th and 31st ranking in the NWTF record book.
