    Our rut runs from about the second week of November through the end of the month if you're bow hunting. Gun season opens at the end of November and runs 10-11 days. Tree stands can be left in place with the hunters ID on it. Ground blinds must be packed out daily. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Look up Waconda reservoir in north central Kansas. There are miles of public hunting around it. It can be very hectic during gun season at times. Carr creek is where these two came from. It's about a half mile walk or more back in to where it's good but all of the lead slingers are too lazy to go that far in. Another good spot is granite creek. Our deer populations are way down because of about 5 years of drought but you can still shoot a nice one if you're willing to work for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    This one was taken the year before the one in the other pic. In the same spot. I actually missed the one in the first pic the year I got this one. Glad my friend got it.
