  1. Hi All! We hope you enjoyed our previous podcast! This episode is a little different and MUCH MORE ENTERTAINING. We are now starting to dive into the "hunting talk." During this episode, Jake brings to you some wildlife management updates pertaining to the NY, NJ, and PA areas. He also begins to talk about the upcoming spring turkey season. Jake provides a brief overview of the gear he uses, discusses shot placement, and provides different calling techniques. Jake also interviews Micah Church from Green Creek, NJ who recently harvested a nice gobbler. Micah gave us an overview of the gear he uses and some of the hunting tactics he used to tackle his spring gobbler. We hope our listeners are staying safe and healthy! Happy Hunting! 3. Who is ready for NY gun this weekend? I’m looking forward to the upcoming season. I’ve checked out our 3 tree stands and 1 blind. They all appear ready to go. I have a few big bucks roaming the farm (4F). Hopefully one walks up this weekend. I’ll be using my 30/30 Winchester with iron sights. One of my favorites. 4. My buddy Ryan and I pushed some fields today first at Stewart’s and then Sterling. Had a good time as always. There weren’t many shots fired over at Stewart’s. Seems like a lot of people didn’t see any birds. After pushing a few fields we made our way over to Indian Hill- Sterling. Heard a couple shots. I took down a hen bird and tried flushing another. Glad we walked out with one. We always try the best we can with no dog. A day in the woods is better than a day at work. Back at it next week.
  5. Welcome! I’m new to the group as well. I hunt 4F on a farm in Richfield/Springfield area
