depends on when I saw him. might pass him up the first week and probably kick myself in the ass the last week just like last year. I've got the mind set the next deer will be bigger hasn't paid off yet though.

I like it. It's nice to have, a lot more durable then the paper one that you get. Always nice to have a back up if your like me and constanly losing or having your wallet go threw the washer. Hey it's not much but when else does the state go above and beyond what they need to do. It's better then the normal sharp stick in the eye or the shit end of the stick hunters are usually getting. Seems to me people are always going to complain no matter what.

Had a similar problem with a neighbor dog where I couldn't go on my side yard without the damn thing coming on to MY property snarling and barking and acting very threating. Trooper told me I couldn't shoot the dog unless it actually bit me or my kids. So unless it was attached to me there was nothing I could do.

If I was the farmer I wouldn't want them anywhere near my farm ever again. I agree take away their hunting privilages for a long time and maybe even some weekends in jail. Can't say I blame the parents though as I don't know them but I do know the kids should be held responsible.

I don't think a campfire is going to bother the deer to much. But being in the treestand and smelling like smoke might raise there attention to you though.

was there a gun shot wound? possible being so close to the road it was hit by a car?

I think the statement is that "rage" 3 blades are illegal not all 3 blades. which is what I don't get because they're suppose to retract. They are built on the same platform as the 2 blade i thought. I saw some broadheads for turkey hunting and they look pretty menacing. I think they're the brand you were talking about. I'd love to take a turkey with a bow but I still have to figure out the gun way of shooting a turkey before I move on up lol. Can't believe how many different heads there are out there. I was told to stay way away from the carbon express heads if anyone was looking at them.

Just got back from dicks and got the rage 2 blades. hopefully i'll have a review on them by the end of the season. What makes the 3 blades illegal and the 2 blades legal?

The spitfires are what I had a problem with opening and breaking off. I really want to try the rage 2 blades but for some reason common sense tells me that 3 blades is better then 2. I like the idea of mechanical because they fly like a field tip but I like the idea that nothing can go wrong with a fixed. Broadheads have been my biggest dilema. It's driving me nuts.

I'm not a big fan of the way the new content is viewed. The old way seemed a lot easier to navigate. Not sure what the difference is between the new content or the new post either.

By the hind legs. The hoist i use has a bar that goes into each which keeps the legs seperated. makes it easier to skin that way for me.

Sure this topic has been hit on once or twice but every year there are new ones out or you guys have tried something new. Not sure if some kind of poll could be started but I'm wondering what are you guys using and what have you tried that you didn't like. Are you using fixed or mechanical and why. The last few seasons I've been wanting to switch to fixed because the last deer I shot one blade broke off and one never opened. So what are your guys thoughts and opinions?

Going out tomorrow night for sure. I've been seeing everytime I go out into the woods and every day the fire whistle goes off at noon there are 3 different groups that sound off all at once. Sounds like there's 40 or 50 coyotes.

I wouldn't eat crow especially after that virus that was really big a couple years back. Can't remember if it was west nile or bird flu that was killing off all the crows but I wouldn't feel comfortable eating anything like that.

That about explains it. You get one shot so make it count. They hardly kick at all. With the new inlines it's basically a one shot rifle capable of reaching out to 200 yards no problem. My buddy always gives me a hard time for using my inline because he's a tried and true flint lock guy. Lol but I always remind him of the only two times he's shot at a deer with his and how the bullet basically rolled out of the end of the barrel because of wet powder or didn't shoot at all.

the print definetly looks like someone stuck their fingers into the ground. I'm guessing a fake. No idea about the two animals can't really tell the size I'm guessing just two deer.

A little heavy and for being a speed ladder it could use some advances in setup but overall I like it. Anyone heard of or have one?

I give my hides to another guy who takes them somewhere that makes them into gloves. we get a few pairs out of the deal. I've been told a few times but always forget the name of the place I'll find out again.

I've learned that less pins is more. with the speeds of new bows you only need 3 pins. I'd like to get one of the adjustable one pin setups. less clutter makes it easier to see exactly where your aiming.

Very cool! Take her to a few 3d shoots she'll probably love it. I bought my boy a cheap 75 dollar bow and took him and two weeks later we were throwing down money on a diamond razor edge and now is at every shoot.
