Any advice on how old before you start bringing them out? My daughter will be 3 this year so I know I still have some time but was just curious. Also, when first bringing them out, do you just have them sit with you to gauge there interest before fully investing in it for them just incase it turns out to be something they dont want to pursue?

First time hunter this season. Got a small doe on opening day, perfect shot through the heart at about 50-60 yards. One on top is mine, bottom is a buddies. Will definitely never shoot that small ever again but what an amazing weekend it was. Not much movement at camp though. Will be heading out again soon to hopefully tag out. Evening all! 28 years old and this will be my first season hunting. Took my course about 2 years ago but wasn't able to start getting out until this year. Recently got my bow certification as well but will be waiting until next year to start that. Been into the outdoors, camping, etc. pretty much my whole life and have been looking forward to finally doing this for a while now. In the western part of the state and tagged along in a hunting camp with a few guys. Looking forward to always learning more and figured jumping on this forum would be a good place for info, especially locally.
