I'll be hunting the beginning of that week so ill look you up. ... I won't get to the park but maybe once between now and then so I'm riding all on that week. Sure hope its good

I was there today. C cabins were pretty full. I hunted the west side. 3 doe. No bucks saw a few scrapes and lots of rubs.

Yup, Went down Sunday and moved a few stands around on the river. I was shocked to see the amount of sign down on the river bank this early. Im a firm believer that many mature deer call the bottom home all year long. Its like its built into them...Up by night and Down by day. Reguardless of hunting pressure!

Are acorns all dropping in the park? I haven't been there since July. I got drawn for the southern zone and will hunt doe only on the first. But I'll hunt the other part of the park on the second

Maybe you should start an "economics of hunting" thread instead of hijacking this one.
IMO more of both. Unfortunately with the economy is the crapper, I dont think we will be seeing either. The state cut alot of funding to the parks, Im just glad they are still open lol.

I've hunted letchworth for a long time. I have been lucky to always get a deer most years with my bow but I really don't see that many deer at all. I here some guysdoalright in the bottoms but ivedne that to and seen little. Anyone have any other opinions or are the deer numbers just way down in the park?

How do you get the tenderloins out of the deer if you dont gut it first????
