I have a similar climbing tree stand with a bar in front but i use the harness once i get up to the spot im gonna hunt from. I agree with you on harness being expensive the harness i have was $135 and the camo is complete @#$%^ but its really easy to put on and comfortable to wear but you get what you pay for with a harness they sell cheap ones at walmart $30 or $40 but they are annoying to put on.

nice mount mine is similar but i have a shooting rail on the front of the stand i just dont have the pole portion just the C-clamp and the pedistal head. I really want to get the arm style one.

I purchased a bigger battery it was about $80 at B&H in the city it last really long i put the hand warmer on the bottom side of the battery and i put an extra fleece hat over the top of the camera until im filming thenput it back on when im done. The new battery is much bigger it adds about an inch and a half to the back of the camera but well worth it the little one that comes with it doesnt last more than 20 min like you said in cold weather the new one ive never had low battery come on.

Yeah the parkway is about 300 yards. The camera is a JVC Everio Hard Drive Camera i picked it up last year for hunting good quality for a small camera(need to keep a hand warmer rubber banded to it it cant take the cold but the hand warmer trick works). And i wont tell Chris nice shot his heads big enough after this LoL

Hey I was shooting video for my friend yesterday and we got some great footage of him taking a doe really exciting getting it on film and the lumenok helps!

Anyone know if the season is opening Oct 1 this year in southern zone or is it still Oct 15th just wondering some people seem the think it changed??
