Hello Bloodbrothers, I'm going to be in Albany area very soon, actually on the 28th of Aug. I have done a little research and see that your bow season starts Sept 21 for Deer and Bear. Well-being an bow addict I just have to fill my need to hunt. So if you great people can give me some clues as to where some public land areas to hang a tree stand that would be great. Really looking forward to hunting NY State for deer and bear. I have two bows both Mathews they are Switchback and Monster and I love both of them. I will be using my monster here in NY. Anyway great to see a site dedicated to all my fellow hunters and huntresses. Hope to meet some of you folks and swap some stories heck maybe even a few beers and some back straps. Later, Kevin Barry
