Here are some examples of what I make. -
"IF" I am ever in the need of getting a brand new gun for turkey hunting, this will be the one. I have heard from some reliable sources that this model is very, very reliable for the long run!!

This is the very scope I have on my Winchester 1300 for turkey and for deer hunting before I got a rifle. The Leupold 1x4 with the extra heavy reticle works very nicely in fading light as well.

Look's like Winchester has come out with a brand new semi-auto shotgun for 2017. It's called their SX4 model. Supposedly has many new and improved features over their SX3 model. Just sayin....

A good friend of mine sent me this picture of his display mounted on his trophy wall. This is what it would look like fully loaded and mounted.

At the Sportsman's show last March I shot a couple of Elite bows, and yes they felt and shot great. But Mathew's has just came out with their new "Halon 32", and I want to check out this bow. Being a Mathews owner for over 20 years now, it's hard to jump ship.

Great pics!!!

I went to a gun show yesterday and finally was able to pick one of these shotguns up to handle it and check it out. First thing I noticed right off was that the stock seemed a little too short for me. Think I would end up putting a new recoil pad on it first!!!

Advice for equipment needed to make food plots
maytom replied to goosifer's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
I have a Hunter Specialties 5 gallon ATV spreader for sale. Bought new from Cabela's for our food plots. Problem is we had to sell the place. PM me if interested. -

Other than being sure after scraping off the old feathers and glue, use some sort of cleaner for the shafts to make a solid surface for the glue to adhere too. I use to use feathers many years ago when I shot fingers, and I fletched my own. Now, with the vanes on the market, I never looked back. Feathers are lighter for sure, but they are much noisier, prone to problems in wet weather, and mostly not as durable as vanes. I commend you for still using them. Tip: Since your using a WB rest, stay away from any of the so called "Quick Spin" vanes and stick with Blazers. Also, I see that with a WB set up, you must seat your arrow on your bow with the one vane in the "Top or up" position for them to work properly. The "bottom portion" of a WB rest's bristles are very hard compared to the other sections, so avoid sending any vanes through the bottom section on this style of rest. Hope this helps ...P

That's something I want to do as well while there is snow on the ground. Really pin points the trails nicely....

My thoughts go out for your friend.
