  1. Very nice, thanks for posting! If you have a few bucks to spend, mount him. There is a possibility that you would regret not doing a mount. But, you'll never regret mounting him.
  2. Gotta admit hes a trooper. Last thing I saw him doing was fishing for salmon up in Alaska in a foot of snow in his wheel chair.
  3. I don't know if its true or not, but I also heard they will not be reopening. No skin off my back, I'll never shop in a Gander Mountain again any way.Good riddance.
  4. Funny you post this... I have used a 20 gauge for hunting turkey and never got a shot at a turkey. I bought a brand new 12 gauge on a Friday afternoon once and shot a turkey with it the next day, good luck gun? I only really take out the 20 gauge for squirrel and shooting targets now.
  5. Based on what you have said, I would have to say the old 30-06 as well.
  6. Ping is short for "ping pong". It's the time, in milliseconds, it takes for a packet of data to be sent from your computer to a remote computer/server and then back.
  7. Hi Jasper, welcome to the site!

  10. You must sign the back of the license, its the one that says "License" on it.Carcass tags have little pictures of the animals you're supposed to put them on. They must be filled out immediately after the animal is recovered, be sure to mark or cut out the month and day of kill on the bag of the tag. Tags must be attached when the animal is at camp or in a vehicle to transport it.
  11. Some people just leave them where they lie. They have great fur, skin them and tan the hides. Make a hat out of one You can also find someone to buy pelts off of you. Or sell them online. They're called furbearers for a reason
  12. Hi Chris, It isnt too late to get your license this year, if your willing to travel. I remember when my little brother was getting his license he got it late in the year, I think maybe 1 week before regular deer season. Visit the DEC site, they have a list on there some where with all the classes and when/where they hold them. Good luck!
