How did her internal organs look? Especially the liver, look normal and healthy? No spots or abnormal growths or colors? Did you cut the heart open? It should not have any discoloration or abnormalities.

I will carry my pistol when I hunt with a gun, mostly because its the only time I can carry it. Its just a nice tool to have if you need it!

I have never read anything that spoke about the topic, or heard anything about it for that matter. Give the DEC a call or e-mail. I would be worried about it getting stolen tho if it was out there for a extended period of time.

How many of you walk through the woods with an arrow nocked? Personally I dont. I keep my broadheads in my quiver until I am in stand or sitting. I have heard some people say they always walk with an arrow nocked tho. So what do you do?

Got out for a soggy afternoon hunt. It was just drizzling when I went out. Kicked up a doe. Then it started pouring... Soaked down to my underwear (but my feet were dry, thank god!). 1 and a half hour ride home... good thing I had a towel and some other clothes to out on in the truck. Not sure when the next time ill be able to get back out there is going to be... Back to work tomorrow, weekend is looking tied up with the GF. Maybe I can sneak out Friday night and do some predator calling... or maybe a early hunt on Saturday morning, that would be nice.

My father grew up in the Hamptons, dead broke poor. All this rich and famous nonsense is pretty new. All my aunts and uncles live out there still and no, they are not filthy rich. A lot of you guys have a bad misconception of the Hamptons. and yes, there are some BIG deer out there.

I have watched red squirrels run around a tree dropping every cone on the thing, then they go around and pile them up. Very noisy and annoying when your trying to hunt!
