    Up a tree in 8m. Nada so far. Begins our annual 10 day excursion at Letchworth. Good luck everyone. The pre-rain winds are starting up so get’er done soon.

    Just blew it with a solid 8pt in 7m. Came from behind me, upwind, on the downhill side and still must’ve seen me ease up out of my climber seat. New place, walked in blind, soaked with sweat. At least there’s a buck here. Hope there’s two

    Agreed. I went through some rough years early on but learned a lot....the hard way

    Back up in random spot at Letchworth on high side. Just a 4pt at 8:15am until noon. Hope this sit is better

    Yeah I did see they closed that area down for some stupid reason. My buddy got a nice 8pt last weekend we were out but was at my MIL property in Livonia not in the park. We just saw does and a 6pt in park. I’ve heard and read about guys repelling down into good spots but haven’t tried it myself. We have been getting a cabin the last week of bow and 3 days of shotgun opener so we’ll be there too. Also talked the family into staying with my MIL next weekend so I’m set for November. Just need to figure out the not going to work but still getting paid thing

    My ahole friend booked an extra day for our cabin at Letchworth so now I gotta be sick tomorrow. Weather looks great. Stupid addictions

    Haha that’s right. I get hammered enough once a summer to walk down there with a neighbor or two then remember why it’s been a year since I went.

    I’m at work off Carrier Circle (hard at work keeping up with the activity here) but live off Rt 48 just before Ox Creek (near titty bar).

    I live just north of Syracuse but spend most of my hours in a tree at Letchworth and my mil in Livonia. More deer and bigger (body and racks) for the most part. Bought a house 4 years ago with 20 acres but hardly hunt it much. Maybe 3-5 sits a year. I got to move.....again

    Yup she’s at the end up the upper part of road. Found it yesterday morning alive in a switchgrass field. We tracked/bumped it from 7am until 3pm when he was able to run it down and I literally mean run it down in a ravine to get a 25-30 yard shot. It was an epic hunt

    Coincidentally on Densmore Rd. My buddy hit a good 8pt there last night. Followed blood up to neighbors property and trying to get ahold of him for permission now

    I spoke to one of the Park rangers who stopped by our cabin about bear last year. He said you can shoot a bear as long as it’s by itself. I asked how would they know if it wasn’t. He said they knew all the bears in the park and would just know. I laughed pretty hard
