    Hey Everyone- long time stalker first time poster. Out of my first sit in 7a a few miles north of 3 rivers. One red squirrel so far. Thought y’all would be impressed. Here’s to a good 2018. Shoot straight and shoot often.

    I used to use Muzzy's and they were good with alot of pass throughs. I switched this year to the T3s and shot a doe opening night that was a pass through as well. She only went 30 yards before piling up. Hard to say which is better. probably depends on the set up and shot placement (of course).

    I read an article a few years back about a deer killed in velvet like that. It ended up having some injury to his testicles that created a hormone imbalance that caused the deer to never shed his antlers and to stay in velvet year round. But chief was probably the most accurate in assuming the deer was married.

    Thanks guys. How has teh hunting season been so far? Can't wait to get in the woods this weekend to see how things are shaping up. My best weekend for seeing activity is the Halloween weekend each year but my father and hunting buddy like the last week of bow better. What do you think is better for seeing the most activity?

    I couldn't agree more there are many righteous hunters on this thread. I would have to believe everybody that hunts has made a mistake in judgement when hunting in one way or another doesn't make it right or wrong - bad or good - it's how we all get experience and know what to do and what not to do the next time. Good luck trying to recover the animal. Stop bashing and support your fellow hunter there aren't many of us left out there so put your noses back down

    Hey Guys just wanted to get on here and introduce myself after reading some of the letchworth comments. I just started hunting there this year and it is everything I have been reading. It's a long ride for me from Syracuse but I have some family in Rochester and Livonia who now have a permanent weekend guest until December. Enough of my ranting good luck to you all this year.
