Thank you for all the great answers! I will look around and pick up a new one then! CCHC I have TC Encore already I may just get barrel for it with nice scope for few hundred dollars instead. Someone mentioned to me before that they make special scope just for .223 caliber, is that true?

So I'm starting to get spring fever again and need to buy another gun (can never have too many toys) I'm right handed but I shot lefty do to my vision, so I'm looking for another lefty rifle. This time I want compact rifle, I like Remington Model Seven but I dont think they made them in LH model. I already own LH .243 Rem 700 (My favorite) then Encore 30-06 with custom muzzel break Bergara barrel, Marlin 336 in 30-30.. and bunch of shotguns etc.. So I would like a small compact rifle, not sure caliber yet.. .260 or .280Acl, heck maybe even 7mm or .308. Please let me know if you know who makes one or what you would suggest... If I cant decide I will probably get AR15 by Stag Arms in LH version, or another Encore. Thanks! Be safe.

Yes I got my test kit at lowes, you need to use distilled water for the test. You get all the instructions on how to use it.. also youtube has some info as well..

Never tought about cutting branches off they are pretty high maybe i can use my climber to trim few off. I will try it out maybe I will plan it around memorial weekend. If it works i will make few more patches around that area.

Hey guys I'm new here and looking for some opinion. I would like to make a small food plot by my hunting spot but I'm not sure if anything would grow there. I hunt in 7R, its all woods but I clened up an area about 100 yards x 20 yards.. I'm concerned about the area not getting enough sunlight b/c there are some tall trees around it. Dose anyone of you have any sucess with little snack plots like that? Where we hunt there are no farms for deer to feed on so I tought it would be good to put small snack patch like that. Let me know what seed would be good to plant there. I will do soil test with one of those Loews soil test kits. Thank you.
