Serious... right side of 390 headed north. Saw 2 anterless deer bounding through a brush lot, followed by a racked buck. I couldn't believe it! I thought my buddy was gonna jump outa' the truck when he spotted it. I'm wondering if new growth will push old ones out or will they just grow wierd (I've NEVER seen a deer carrying headgear so late into the new year before in my life!).

Traveling to Rochester yesterday... saw an 8-pointer with both sides on around Sonya. Unbelievable!!!

That was funny... I think I saw teeth!

All I know is that I was driving around this winter without a heater (it would only blow cold air). I took it into the shop (for a new thermostat) and they said it was a plugged heater core - told me it needed a new radiator and 'power flushed'. A month later... a new engine - WTF? I'm not a mechanic and I don't have $3200 to spend on purchasing and installing a USED engine (that's what they quoted me). Ouch! This truck is pretty much imaculate - no rips, tears, frame rust, etc. Has one small rust spot where the driver's door hit a wire fence (but I put some paint over it). Haha... My aunt's friend (who is 81) never travels without packin'. She drives all over the USA and is NEVER w/o a pistol right beside her in the car. She was born in TX and lives in AZ... travels to NYS every other year or so.
