Welcome Rev... enjoy!

Oh he's toying with you now... It's like he knows how photogenic he is and he just wants you to be aware that he's 'out there'... but he's gonna' suck in his antlers and climb a tree come archery season. :-\

I use a RipCord fall away... absolutely love it! Never had it fail and it holds an arrow in place even if the bow is turned upside down. Pricey... but well worth it.

I thought I read in the regs where it was illegal to have venison in your possession after August 1st. Does anyone know if this is true?

Ridge Top Bucks... gotta' love 'em!

Very nice job on the mount. I think my next mount will be a euro... again - nice job!

I'd fall out of my tree stand if a buck like that came in close... . Looking forward to you in a photo with him on the ground.

Aren't there a lot of 'birds' in Fishkill (behind that long fence) trying to fly? ??? Oh wait... you can't shoot them! Welcome to the forum 13BVET... did you serve?

circumference ??? ... that's a pretty skinny tree! Personally I'd be looking for a bigger one.

Mechanical or fixed broadheads?
MuzzyLoader replied to Forest Hunter's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
That's probably the BEST answer to your question Forest. I shoot fixed blades because I have a lower poundage bow and a short draw length. -
Go get 'em D... Bring home a dandy! Make sure to post pictures of your adventure.

I hope he is there for bow season

That and a lot of goat sh*t underneath...

Not if it's woodchuck! Actually blur, I thought it was illegal to sell venison too. Perhaps they had a permit or are exempt under law.

A chicken farmer went into a local tavern and took a seat at the bar next to a woman patron and orders a glass of champagne. The woman perks up and says, "How about that? I just ordered a glass of champagne, too!" "What a coincidence,” he said. “This is a special day I'm celebrating." "This is a special day for me, too, and I'm also celebrating!," says the woman. "What a coincidence," says the man. They clinked glasses and he asked, "What are you celebrating?" "My husband and I have been trying to have a child. Today, my gynecologist told me I'm pregnant!" "What a coincidence," says the man. "I'm a chicken farmer and my last flock of hens were infertile, but today they're finally fertile." "That's great!" says the woman, "How did your chickens become fertile?" "I switched cocks," he replied. "What a coincidence," she said.

The Theory of Intelligence I don't think I've ever heard the concept explained any better than this . 'Well you see, Norm, it's like this . . . A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we all know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Good one Eddie! Real men don't need no stinkin' directions!
