  1. ^^^ This... and preferably not yet gutted.
  2. I wouldn't have believe an armadillo could be killed with a SGH...
  3. Great-lookin' Buck! Congratulations on getting it done!!!
  4. I'm going to start tomorrow. I did some still hunting today and found 3 bucks locked down with doe.
  5. Can't hunt 'til Saturday this week because of business commitments... but like you I think this weekend will be dy-no-mite!
  6. Why is it that women have the best 'sence' sometimes? I would have NEVER thought of that and went on about my climbing like normal. Thanks Growie for 'bopping' me with some insight before climbing again.
  7. As long as it was in a plastic zip-lock type bag it ought to be good to go... (I would think).
  8. Good Idea Early... Sandy could have changed deer movement for years to come in some areas.
  9. I've never hunted a cornfield during a windy day... but I hear it can be really productive if done correctly. Lots of standing corn around where I hunt too. The farmer next to where I hunt has cut some in one field, but not all.
  10. YEEEOUCH... and this has happened more than once???
  11. Been fighting with a leak all day in our back room. New shingles put on 2 years ago and they all look good. Yes, damn rain!
  12. Outrageous Shot! Oh... but it's a 2" expandable - it makes a BIG hole and is a SURE killer for an archer < sarcasm >
  13. Rattled yesterday (10/27) and a young 3-pointer came saundering in. I was using a Montana Buck Decoy (first time I ever used a decoy) for 'realization'. Well that little dude saw the decoy and locked up immediately... then took off on a dead run. I then put the decoy at the edge of a cut corn field later in the day. I tried rattling again and a 4-pointer answered. There was a LARGE buck looking my way, but never answered; he just kept his head down feeding.
  14. That's where all his EX's live... STAY AWAY - they're dangerous!
  15. Hahaha.... they get drunk eating those leftover grapes.
  16. Welcome to the Forum young man.... Happy Hunting!
  17. Nice going! I tried to call an entire 'heard' of hens and jakes yesterday over to my stand but to no evail. Found out why a few minutes later... coyote.
  18. I like your optimism! So... how did you make out? Two deer???
  19. That close and no photo of the deer on the ground??? Great-looking Buck!
