Holy Fracking Fluid Batman ??? ... what a thread! I've been offline for a few weeks with a laptop that had 3-legs in the air. Today I purchased a new one. So glad I did... I get to 'catch up' with what's been going on here. Looks like this is a 'hot' topic, and rightfully so - too many rural homeowners in PA can light water straight from their kitchen faucet because large quantities of gas have 'fracked' into the aquifers. I bet Wally World loves it... they probably have a hard time keeping bottled water on their shelves. I know from my perspective... I don't want any fracking going on anywhere near me - those underground aquifers travel for miles!

WTF? And I'm a veteran, why.....??????? This country is slowly imploding. I think T.S. Eliot said it best, 'This is the way the world ends, not with a bang... but a whimper.'

Ah, but the dilemma is when you vote these clowns out, what new batch of clowns come in to replace them. I gotta go for a drive and get rid of some of the expensive gas in my truck so I can fill it up with the cheaper stuff! :'(

Besides, the President is extremely well educated (he even told us so ) and he said his Gun Control will be "... common sense measures [and they will] improve American safety and security while fully respecting [our] Second Amendment rights," See - he's being logical. ;D He KNOWS current gun control laws lack 'common sense'. And he KNOWS congress probably won't be able to follow his outstanding knowledge of what is needed in this area, so why would he want to bother them with a trivial task like gun control? Isn't it admirable that he's just gonna' take it upon himself to address this issue and make America more safe and secure? >

WOW... ??? So, bringing the [forum] question back into focus - fawn is delicious. I shot a small one a long time ago (could have stuck it in a game pouch on a small-game vest - like a rabbit). There wasn't much meat - but it was absoulutely delicious! Speaking of hot-dog sized tenderloins - perhaps if I ever shoot another one, I'll have all the meat made into venison hot dogs (50% venison / 50% pork)... that way I'll get 2x as much meat. I imagine the taste of a big-wood's fawn would taste different than that of a corn-fed one though, (like any other deer - it's what they eat that makes them taste either like corn-fed beef or red-maple shoots).

Great video... At what yardage did you shoot most of the chucks? Did you shoot out of a blind or did you do a sight & stalk? And... was that pair of woodchucks in a grape vine?

Can you imagine the POWER these birds of prey have? I wonder how many pounds they could carry for a sustained distance. :-\

I'm with ya' eagle! Had one, (336C) then sold it after a guy begged me for it ~3 years. So many times I wish I still had that ole' gal!!! Why did you have to bring this subject up? :'(
