I agree 100% I just don't know who taught these idiots on how to hunt. Watching this puts it in perspective what the rest of us responsible hunters hear as we sit in our stands. As the volley of shots ring off before legal shooting.

Ahh good old " Can't Remember Sh*t " I think it has to do with the daily hustle and bustle. There are far more distractions today and it's incredibly easy to forget little things. Maybe the young blood knows where you put them.

It's a lot of fun with dogs! It may help some people with dogs if you let them know where you live or are willing to travel to.

Look at the clarity! Should be interesting to see the price points and availability.

We usually take 2-3 does between 4 guys and tend to target more mature deer, whether they are does or bucks (3 y.o+). There are some years where we only connect with 1-2 does. It all depends on the herd and where they are feeding. Good video OP.

Stone let us know how the hatfield and McCoy trails are. We have been thinking about taking the RZRs there. Winter was absolutely brutal this year and not only has my house been beat on but I had a ton of problems with the cold and the plumbing in my rentals. On a brighter note at least we got lots of sap for Maple syrup. 20 gallons of finished syrup to date.

I can't stand TWC but there are no other options of high speed internet in my area.As much as I hate doing business with Time Warner... I still haven't found anything better than their high speed internet.

Our driveway piles are 5' high and at the apartment house I plow it's easily 6' and I pushed back all the banks today in prep for all of the additional snow we might be getting.

Nice day today. Tough to see with all the snow on the trees weighing them down. Sun is starting to melt the snow so hopefully the line of sight gets better. A few sets of tracks and 2 doe before dawn.

Quick update- number one was shot last Sunday by a buddy. Trailing a doe, he shot the doe then the buck 3 min apart. Sightings have dropped significantly at the stand but still seeing some young guys running around during daylight. I haven't been able to connect this year and is starting to feel like tag soup will be on the table. I did a walk and stalk today. For every set of deer tracks I saw there was a set of coyote tracks trailing with a few leaping deer tracks. Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving and gets to fill some tags this weekend.

Just had a doe come through. Couldn't get her to stop in a lane.

First time set up in a ground blind. Holy comfy. Just hope I don't get shot.

3 shots back to back. Bravo you idiot.

Good luck everyone! It feels weird to have a rifle today.

My thoughts exactlyIt's tough to tell from that angle, would be nice to see if it's broke off at the base or if it just never grew. He's a young deer that's for sure. I guess if you saw him and noticed he was limping or walked oddly you could probably assume a car hit him. I personally would let him walk if he didn't appear to have anything ailing him...he could be a super nice buck next year. His frame is pretty stout.

Phone died out at the stand today, had plans for dinner tonight and they cancelled so I hurried home to find out we weren't going. While I was out this afternoon something kicked 4 deer up and I heard crashing. I hoped it was a buck chasing and all of a sudden I see a rabbit running to my stand. I thought maybe coyote chasing and come to find out it was a bobcat chasing for the rabbit. Pretty fun to watch.

Stay in the oaks or move to bedding?
