The old if you cant back it up with hard facts then baffle them with bullsi--t tactic. I especially find it amusing when people claim theories are gospel truth. Like they were there when it happened.

Oh yeah over the last 7 yrs ive seen it all. People walkin throught the posted signs and erecting ladder stands was especially annoying but was very satisfying to chop it up and pile it under the tree with my trusty machete. One yr during a nice snow storm I was expecting to see some deer and had stepped off the trail to sit behind a tree over looking a brush lot. Suddenly I heard a dirt bike coming up the trail and I stood up and waited for him to get about even with me. I jumped out from behind the tree and started yelling jibberish and waving my arm and the kid nearly fell of his bike then regained control and gunned it showering me with snow and mud. I bet he really needed to change his panties when he got home.2011 was pretty uneventfull but they came back with a vengance in 2012. I have one neighbor that takes particular delight in walking up to the rope across the trail behind his house and cutting it. I keep replacing it and I put one of my old 35mm cams up with no film in it watching the trail to discourage him from doing it some more. I have to replace the posted signs on one side of the property every yr because some one keep tearing them down. I just come along and tack them back up. This yr they took them with them so I have to go back with a ladder and put them high enough so they cant get to them. Unless they want to bring a ladder with them, then more power to'em, ill just keep putting them back up.This yr I started out hunting the front side of the property for the first two days then on the third I decided to skirt the outside of the property and hunt the back side. Soon as I crested the hill I could see orange. I stood there for a bit and watched to see if it was someone who had permission to hunt there. He was facing away from me and kept looking side to side but never looked behind him. So I yelled over asking who he was. He grabbed his stuff and took off running back over into the stateland.

Will still stick to re chargeable's and battery boxes. Less haz waste going into the landfill. Im no tree hugger but if it makes sense and doesnt poison your environment then why not do it.

Most of the time we cant understand him either.

But there was always that one jerk that would think he was funny and give it a couple of extra pumps. More than once I came home with some pretty substantial welts on my legs of back. Most of us had the crappy little lever action rough rider bb guns like in the christmas story so it really didnt hurt to much. I think about it today and all I can say is it really wasnt to smart on our part and I would kill my kids if they do anything as stupid. But we were tougher back then I guess. Most the kids I know need a helmet just to walk down the street let alone ride a bike.

This yr was the worst yr ever on our property for tresspassers. Ive even gone as far as taking broken trail cams and putting them up out of reach in trees where people can see them from the trails to hopefully scare them off. I have strung up rope across all the trails in areas where 4 wheelers cannot get through on the sides and have confronted several people last hunting season about tresspassing. One guy even walked 50 yrds and sat down again. I had to walk him right off the property. Our goal last season was to let everyone know that last yr was the grace period. Any thing this yr will be reported. The straw that broke the camels back was last summer around Sept an elderly neighbor that we let hunt the property was riding his 4 wheeler down one of the trails and was almost run over by 4 kids on dirt bikes tresspassing. He actually ran off the trail and hit a tree. They stopped and he jumped off his 4 wheeler to confront them and they took off. My uncle who own's the land said that was enough and told me to not let anyone on at all. Now they ride there 4 wheelers up and down the property line during the season. Well the joke was on them when they chased that fat little doe over to me one day, Thanks she is delicious.

Deer loved it, even had 2 really nice 8 pointers bedding in the woods right next to it. 1st frost they ate it right down to the ground. Now this was before when bow started on the 15th. Now they are in trouble because I can be in my stand when they are eating it. As for what is going in them this yr Im not sure. Though plot A I would like to plant something substantial. like half a clover of some sort and half turnips to keep them coming to it later in the season. B and C will probably get winter rye and rape again.
-
Shoot when we were kids we use to put on extra clothes and goggles and run around the woods and shoot eachother on purpose.
-
This was from the B food plot back about 2 yrs ago. A mix of rape and turnip and rye.
-
So once again I turn my thoughts to food plots for the yr. So far I have 2 that I have cleared out over the yrs. Do to a lack of funds last yr they sat idle with a bunch of weeds. This yr Im hoping that things will be better though im not to confident. But I have been working over the last 2 days on clearing brush for plot #3 In the picture below B is the first plot I made C is the 2nd and A is the one im working on now. Not sure what Im going to put in them yet. Will have to see what funds are available come Sept. But the work starts already. Hopefully I will be able to show you the progress made on each plot over the next few months money willin.

If he's looking for a dog I would probably help him, nothin worse than having a pain in the neck dog run off. It's like losing a kid, and you can start to panic. He kind of looks out of breath.

Why is it the Libs always complain about the rich but the top 2 richest people in america are Liberal commies. All the rich baffoons in hollow wood are libs and most dems in congress and house are millionaires.. Why dont they just come out and say that they dont like rich repubs and stop hidding there true commie feelings. -

My wifes got me on a no meat diet anyhow ( minus venison, I had to put my foot down on that one ), let the cuts begin. I dont think it will happen though the Repubs will really let obammer sweat out his little brain child and drag it right down to the wire. -
Nice!! You need to come down to Broome county and clean house. Lots of them pesks around here.

You cant tell me that in all the military/government storage they cant come up with 1billion rounds? They have more ammo stored up than the government could ever shoot. Just more gov waste of money they dont need to spend. When I was in the Army at the end of every yr we had a week long mandatory " TRAINING " week. Where we basically went to the storage bunkers and took all the ammo that was aloted to our company and went and poured it down range. Though I must say it was alot of fun to make an m60's barrel glow at night from holding the trigger down on a 100 rd belt!! The reason they did this was because whatever we didnt use was subtracted from the next alotment. So they would have us shoot it all.

Upon closer inspection of your pic I have to say that it was a snowball fight gone wrong that killed it. A snowball packed up your nose will do it everytime. I spent 6 hrs this weekend walkin from bedding area to bedding and back and forth across several fields and came up empty handed. There were so many bed's and tracks in some of the ares I was sure I would atleast find a small shed but came up empty handed scratchin my head. They are either still wearin em around here or they all got killed where I was checkin. I heard they got pounded pretty good up there so they might have. On to another spot I guess.

Olympic Arms Press Release

Hard to complain if your stuck in someones pocket. State police are the brute force of the governor. Not that there is anythng wrong with that unless you governor is a moron. -
Need help deciding on a new 30.06 and 12Ga
erussell replied to Tony7781's topic in Rifle and Gun Hunting
Try the remington or browning autos if you dont like the kick of the 30-06. My remington 06 kicks about like a 308. You need to treat them with a little TLC and keep them clean and oil free and remember to close the bolt all the way but you wont even know your shooting a 30-06. -
As bloated as that one is it looks like a car kill with the guts damaged on the inside. The herd in your pic looks way to healthy to be hurting to bad.
