    The only time I have felt the kick is if I didn't have the gun shouldered right when bird hunting or trap shooting. I don't ever remember feeling it when shooting a deer. Some times I think people worry about recoil too much.

    I have the NEF 223, 20 ga. slug gun & the 50 cal. ML all good shooters. The slug gun with rifled barrel is dead on at 125 yds.

    Very cool/nice, but there's a lot of extra steel work there just for looks. Straight steel towers alone were a lot of work to put together!

    We had the same thing at home, but ours was converted to a natural gas after a while. My dad would feed it twice a day once in the am & once in the pm.

    My buddy has 2 pellet stoves & loves them, nice heat & clean. He goes thru about 2 tons of pellets a season. I believe he can burn dry corn in it also. He burned wood for 20 yrs. & got sick of all the work.

    This is what I used last yr.. The yote was about 60-70- yds away I found out after I went to where I shot from. The shot spread was pretty wide & spaced apart at that distance , needless to say that yote is still running, man do they take off after the missed shot!! lol

    The Dec. stocks it with trout & the fishing can be good from boat & shore. If you fish it check the regs. book I believe there may be special regs for harwood & case lakes.. Also behind the lake & across the back rd. the woods gets into nice hardwoods once you get through the pines. Years ago the state lands around there were all hunted hard but not so much anymore, mostly locals after the first week. Centerville & Freedom were my stomping grounds for 35 + yrs. until all the land leasing started.

    Anyone ever recycle/ use old wood pallets for these projects ? Check out wood pallet homes/cabins on you tube lots of good ideas. Anyone got pics.? I used a few just for open tree stands yrs. ago they would last quite a while.

    Nice job, what are you shooting them with, shot guns or rifles ? Are the yotes out far in front of the dogs or are the dogs right on them? Just wondering.

    We had our chance to vote all the a-holes out & didn't, I say the law makers are all laughing at us! I also believe there should have been rallies the weekend before election day to get everyone pumped up to vote. I think all has settled down & even the law makers that were on our side stopped the fight to repeal the safe act.

    Same here, I am 5' 10" , 200 & too much & short for my weight! Don't know where all these runts come from !! I 've been told if your waist is bigger than your inseam you are messed up ! lol

    Anyone ever use the deer neck bones for making soup? I remember my father making really good tasting venison/veggie soup & I think it was with the neck bones. Any ideas ?

    Saw this on another site. 2 coyote hunters at night, shot 2 horses by mistake. One horse died. It happened in West Sparta NY. on Moore rd. in Livingston co. Quite a size difference form coyote to horse. Accident ?? Any info. ? The DEC. is investigating.

    FYI, Not to steal you thread, but "they" are also talking about putting up 60 - 70 windmills from Yates to Somerset on the shores of lake Ontario between Rt. 18 & Lakeshore rd.
