Its odd that the media always cover the shootings(today Kent St. in Ohio & Ft. Hood Tx.) & bad crap but they can't to make it to the rallies to fight for our 2nd. amendment right! Sure would be nice to see what would happen if govt. started screwing with the media's 1st. amend. rights & censor ship. One of our local stations just said there were a few hundred people at a gun rally in Albany & that was it!

Go to U- tube & check out "Turkey Reapers" & "Amish vs. turkey" videos. They crawl behind turkey fans & full mounts to get within feet of toms for the shot! Looks like it would be fun to try but way to dangerous for me! Any thoughts on this idea ??

Cabelas is due to open in summer of 2014, I heard August sometime. I was in Gander in Ton. yesterday & I can't beleive their prices, there nuts! I went looking for fishing tackle. Spoons are 2x of other stores even the ma & pop bait shops are cheaper. Rapalas are $8-10 bucks. Fish line high priced, musky lures $29.00 ! I don't know how they stay open? I am pretty sure Cabelas will put them out. I won't go back. The big Gander sign was gone off the front of the building, no name at all.

Great job FastEddie! I just plan on asking Dr.s if they give or receive BJ's from their spouse's or male/female friends which really is none of my business. Just as me owning guns is none of theirs!

Had 2 nice toms fanned out & gobbling in the backyard the last 2 days. Both had 8" about beards. Also had 13 hens that were yelping back & forth. Nice to see & hear!

A local lawyer(James Thursman? who is also fighting the Safe act) is going after the school for violating the kids 1st. amend. right. This is not the first time something like this has happened. The "NRA news" on the Sportsmans channel has reported things like this every other day on the same stuff going on in schools across the country! I beleive people on this site should watch this NRA news every day if you really want to know what is going on against our gun rights. Its crazy & there are days when it really sounds like We are loosing! -
I think they move stuff just to drive us crazy! I came home from work once to find out she organized my work bench , I couldn't find half my tools for a month! I (nicely) lol told her to stay out of my barn! If I lay a book down to go to the john its put away when I come back to it. lol

It is a total shame, we are killing ourselves. What ever happened to "Don't be a litter bug" & the fines that went with it ? I guess it was lost along with prayer & the Pledge to the flag in schools! Kids / people don't learn the basics anymore.

I watched the neighbors pet cat stalk & pounce on a poult turkey (3-4#) last sping in my back yard luckily the mother hen went after the cat & the young one got away. We can only guess what feral cats,fox,cototes,& hawks are doing to the turkey population. I would say they lucky to stay alive.

I say no, you can have a mature tom with a 10" beard today & we get ice & snow & in 2 days that beard can freeze/break off & be 3". The 6" rule might work in MS. because they don't get snow/ice like we do. jmo.
