  1. Either broke or good? What about the one that explodes when you shoot? How does one tell when that will happen? just stirring the pot lol
  2. Never watched anyone shoot in a national competition so i couldnt answer that. All i know is what works for me so....maybe because alot of competition shooters shoot fat arrows...and the biscuit doesnt come big enough? Thats the problem i had with my 2413's
  3. Tried to get out but had some family issues. Still good to at least fill one tag! Broke a 3 year drought!
  4. Already told the fiance im not available until after noon hehe!
  5. Ive never had accuracy issues with the biscuit. Robin hoods happen when i use a biscuit
  6. Honestly i dont even know how much my arrow weighs lol but im sure its not under 430
  7. Anyone got any local ny folks that make and sell strings? Like to keep it local but also dont want to spend a small fortune on one haha!
  8. Think he stated aluminums. Which would be why his groups are off lol. Nothing worse than a bent aluminum to throw your groups off!
  9. Im headed out tomorow morning for the last daym probably hunt til noon. I see alot of walking in my plan lol
  10. Same here doc. I started bowhunting about 13 yeare ago when it seems the speee craze was in its infancy. Now and even then im still not caught up in it. I shoot logs so to speak. I dont think ive ever shot an arrow that weighed anything near 350grains lol
  11. Agree with the radar gun part lol! As for the sound....never had that issue. Ive hunted in snow with aluminum arrows and never had an issue with the biscuit.
  12. Ive heard and seen the same. Just a question is all.
  13. Just an off the wall observation/question....most ive seen that complain about the speed loss of the wb....are the hunters who shoot further than 40 yards. Am i wrong in saying this?
  14. I like them both and i agree they both have pros and cons. 3 fps....yeah not gonna worry about that. If youve gotta squeeze every last bit of speed out...and it comes down to 3 fps, then something else is wrong. I choose to shoot my deer at 30 yards and under. I shoot heavy 2413 xx75 eastons with 100 grain crimson talons out of a 60# bow thats lucky if it hits 270fps. So 3 fps means nothing to me. Hit a deer with my setup, or another setup that cranks out 330fps at 30 yards...the result is the same "dead deer". Then again its my money i spend and yours that you spend. I like my limbdriver but i think im gonna trade or sell it. Just my .02
  15. Something ive learned to live by! Heck im shooting a parker ul31 that they havent made in ten years lol.
  16. Have to agree. Ive shot a biscuit out of speed bows, slow bows, middle of the roar bows out to 50 and never had issues with maintaining accuracy. I may go back to a biscuit now that i found almost a dozen aluminums that they do make a biscuit for. Love the limbdriver but somehow i always end up back with a biscuit lol
  17. Yes i did. And got wet for it lol. Was a light rain at first and it stopped when i got out of truck. I walked about a mile or so and it still was a sprinkle....fifteen minutes later the boom of thunder and lightning sent me walking. It downpoured the whole way back....
  18. Lol i was about a mile away from the truck when the downpours came. Wasnt bad at first then it really opened up with thunder and lightning.
