I have been hunting. Very hard actually. Just wondered if anyone else had the same issue. And yes id love a 10 pt behind every tree...what hunter wouldnt
I've almost come to expect it. People just don't care. And not to be judgemental but I'm sure this guy is a few fries short of a happy meal. Thinking what's goin on upstairs is probably a hot mess. Has no clue that people are hunting and he's in the middle of it. Oh well...what can ya do other than continue to hunt
Had the same scenario a few days ago. Actually was 2 days in a row. 2 does both big came in and just kept looking at the decoys. Figured they would spook but they just kept getting closer. Very interested in finding out if I can use the decoys during deer season....
Well currently switching spots after I found a trespasser. Pretty sure its the same meth head/whackjob who rode his bicycle back into the woods last season. Then proceeded to have a conversation with my decoys....my 8 year old an I were like what the heck! So off to a new untouched spot for the first time! Gotta love bustinn your butt only for others to ruin the morning!
Same situation for me here in wayne county...gonna try again in the morning. I haven't even seen a single turkey all season. And I've heard a total of about 4 shots. Way down from years prior. Guess its statewide from what I hear and read.
Yes I've contacted federal ammo, remington, primos, cherokee sports and others to see if my equipment was defective lol. These "birds" apparently have flown the coop. If you see them please call or message me lmao
8f is quiet...been that way since a week before the season. At least in the area I'm hunting. Week before the season I went out a few mornings to listen and had at least 8 to 10 gobblers going crazy...now nothing...guess its just the way its going
I've had a lot better luck later in the season. Think a lot of hunters have either bagged birds or have given up by week two. Helps me out! Lol but as stated sometimes areas that were quiet during the early season, can all of a sudden be hot beds for action. Best thing to do is hunt hard an keep at them! Good luck!
First post...might as well ask what a lot of others seem to be experiencing...where are the birds!?!? Week before the season started I had sign and heard birds while out listening. At least 8 to 10 gobblers. I've hunted hard since and have lost my birds. Wet weather? Henned up? Breeding is done? Any thoughts?
