I love watching them too...we have a house in Vermont and see them there frequently...but I have never seen one this big. In Vermont they are very skittish....if the floor board creaks they run...this one was very comfortable...noises didn't scare him at all. I'll let you know if I see any more.

I live on West Hills Road bordering West Hills Park and have heard rumors about deer in the park for about a year or so. On May 21, 2012 at 9:28 am a big one walked right past my back door, ate some berries off a tree and strolled back towards the park. Haven't seen any since I will post a picture of it if someone tells me how. Thanks.
