its is a pretty good tool to sharpen the edge on us hunters... its like you said, seeing deer in the woods you otherwise would not know were there and its a fun little hobby.

shoot to bad you couldnt get a pic... there are so many useless insects around. i mean what purpose do those things serve? lol

well a thermacel wont repel ticks but honestly it works wonders for ticks and skeeters... i think if you used the 2 combined you would have a worry in the world! i will prob buy 2 more b4 hunting season....

OMG! I think I may have seen a baby-tick 'nest'. I thought it was a bunch of baby spiders - believe me... they were VERY TINY (and I didn't spend time counting legs or dissecting them). Anyway I smashed them between my hands. There were a million of 'em! We live in a village (Horseheads, Chemung Co.), so I NEVER thought about them being ticks... but the nest sure looked like the one in that vial. i hunt in horseheads too and you know what ive never picked one tick off me. but i do get there in novemebr tho so im sure theres thinned out lol. but yeah chances are they were baby ticks. honestly tho being the nymh stage they do carry a hard shelled body like an adult tho... they quisched when you smashed them? maybe they were really little ones?

yeah 40lb is a decent yote... ive seen them bigger upstate where i go. 40lb should be around average no?

i have a whole in box of different ones ranging from job relocation to husband dieing over seas. its bad... and email address like johnnemily@ such n such they always try to come off as a girl...

i dont limit myself to one area. ive been hunting LI for quite sometime and ive done my share of state/private land scouting for hunting spots... plus my family has 10 acres of land right next to a huge corn crop out east.

most hunters mess up with calls like the bleet cans or grunt calls, even rattleing becasue they use it irregularly... ive heard people doing all 3 at once for long periods of time and very often though out the day. the key is to be sutle sometime, alittle goes along way. if you just grunted and you have a buck comeing in, alot of guys will keep grunting at him to ensure the deer comes in. That buck knows exactly where that sound is coming from and will either come in faster then you think or slower. ill hit the can and when a buck works his way in ill stop, if that deer turns as if to walk off ill hit it once, he will look back and chances are "Turn" or keep walking away. I hit it again and it strikes the interest back. its like a game. most hunters fail becasue they call tomuch...

LOL r u kidding? im all about the scores card, shoot i spend enough there i get that 10 coupon in the mail every few months lol. the wife puts the dicks adds on the table for me so i can look though it. i even got her saying "well dicks has some hunting stuff on sale" "nice tree stands"... its funny... its like hitting the lottery when i get a 10% or 20% off coupon that i can use with a gift card and my 10$ off... love that store, not only for hunting but im a big golfer as well. camping anything outdoors really.

+1 check on craigslist i will advise tho: DO NOT bother with adds from a female who replies she lost her husband and moved away, the quad is with her and shes selling a 8K quad for dirt cheap! google ATV fraud on craigslist, there is a huge market right now for scamming people on ATV's. BEWARE! but there are good deals on there, just dont feed into the ones wheree females who lost there husband in iraq or anything like that. they try to lay a sob story and say they will engage in ebay for a bvuyer protection plan. Its BS, ebay only does it for active listings! you can not just list a quad under a BPP on eaby.

i hunt all over out east really... i have atleast 8 - 10 different properties i hunt... i also have state land across the street from my inlaws house so you know what i do when we go out there for dinner during bow lol.
